PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member having excellent durability in which a laser beam in which energy intensity per unit area is optimized is irradiated to a base material, thereby a concavity to a vertical direction of the base material is set to an optimal depth in which a resin film formed on the base material is not peeled, thereby an adhesion force of the base material and the resin is improved, and peeling of the resin film from the base material does not generate to a slide of an extended period even in a severe load condition; a production method of the same; and a swash plate for a compressor using the slide member.SOLUTION: A slide member includes: a base material in which a laser beam in which energy intensity per unit area is at least 0.053 J/mmis irradiated, an uneven part is formed in a vertical direction by the irradiation laser beam, and a part performed by dissolution and coagulation is formed on the uneven part; and a resin film including a solid lubricant and a binder resin that is formed on the base material.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for improving a nanoparticle composition and a manufacturing method and a utility method of the same.SOLUTION: The disclosed composition includes solid lubricant nanoparticles and an organic medium. Moreover, nanoparticles including a laminarly formed material are also disclosed. A method for manufacturing nanoparticles by finely pulverizing a laminarly formed material is also provided. Moreover, a method for manufacturing a lubricant is also provided, whereas this method includes a step of forming nanoparticles by finely pulverizing a laminarly formed material and a step of forming a lubricant by blending the nanoparticles with a base.
Abstract:
A tubular threaded element including a dry protective coating. The coating includes a solid matrix adhering to the substrate in which there are dispersed particles of at least one solid lubricant belonging to one and the same class. The solid matrix is lubricating and has a rheological behaviour of plastic or viscoplastic type. The coating protects the threadings of the threaded elements, used for example in hydrocarbon wells, from corrosion and galling.

A process for drawing wire employing a lubricant comprising perfluorocarbon compounds (PFCs), including aliphatic perfluorocarbon compounds ( alpha -PFCs) having the general formula CnF2n+2, perfluoromorpholines having the general formula CnF2n+1ON, perfluoroamines (PFAs) and highly fluorinated amines (HFAs), and perfluoroethers (PFEs). Such fully and highly fluorinated carbon compounds exhibit a very high degree of thermal and chemical stability due to the strength of the carbon-fluorine bond. Further, because the compounds are fully fluorinated, and therefore do not contain chlorine and bromine, they have zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). Further, because the compounds are photochemically non-reactive in the atmosphere, they are not precursors to photochemical smog and are exempt from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) volatile organic compound (VOC) definition. Further, because they are volatile, the compounds are easily removed at the end of the process without need for an additional cleaning step. The process provides wire at significantly higher production speeds and longer die life with improved quality and less byproduct debris.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding resin composition which can reduce oil-repellency of PTFE even in conditions where lubricating oil is scarce, can prevent discharge of the lubricating oil from a sliding surface and, thereby, hardly causes the seizure. SOLUTION: The resin composition 1 in such a state that particles of PTFE 3 allowing an inorganic compound 4 having oil-absorptivity to be embedded on the surface of the particles of PTFE 3 are dispersed is used and, thereby, the inorganic compound 4 having the oil-absorptivity absorbs and retains the lubricating oil and can reduce oil-repellency of PTFE 3 on the sliding surface. The invention has an object of obtaining a circuit breaker comprising a switching mechanism provided with a lubricant superior in heat resistance and oxidation resistance, and capable of being operated stably for a long time. A circuit breaker according to the invention comprises: a switching mechanism (A) accommodated in an insulating case (1) for connecting and disconnecting a movable contact (3) to and from a fixed contact (2); and a trip mechanism (C) provided with an engaging section (B) for engaging with the switching mechanism (A), and disengaging the engaging section (B) upon detecting any excess current on any electric pathway in the circuit so that the movable contact (3) is separated from the fixed contact (2) ; in which a part of the switching mechanism (A) consists of a material containing iron or iron compound, and sliding portion of the material containing iron or iron compound is provided with a lubricating oil composed of 1 to 5 wt% molybdenum disulfide added to a phenylether oil to which an antioxidant is added.
