Abstract: The object is to provide a resin composition for a printed circuit board capable of realizing a printed circuit board that not only has heat resistance and flame retardancy but also is excellent in heat resistance after moisture absorption. The resin composition is a resin composition for a printed circuit board containing a cyanate ester compound (A) obtained by cyanation of a naphthol-dihydroxynaphthalene aralkyl resin or a dihydroxynaphthalene aralkyl resin, and an epoxy resin (B).

Abstract: Optical cable components fabricated from an extrudable polymeric blend of crystalline polypropylene modified with one or more impact-modifying polymers. The impact-modifying polymers are crosslinked and can be selected from a polyolefin elastomer, an olefin multi-block interpolymer, an olefin block composite, and combinations thereof. Optionally, the polymeric blend can further comprise a compatibilizer. The polymeric blend may also contain one or more additives. The optical fiber cable components can be selected from buffer tubes, core tubes, and slotted core tubes.

Abstract: The renewed rubber of this invention can be used in rubber formulations that are used in manufacturing a wide array of rubber products, including tires, power transmission belts, conveyor belts, hoses, and a wide array of other products. The present invention more specifically discloses a method for manufacturing an environmentally friendly, chemically functionalized, renewed rubber composition having a highly desirable combination of physical properties and which exhibits excellent processability comprising the steps of (1) blending a micronized rubber powder with a processing aid and a chemical functionalizing agent to produce a blended mixture; (2) processing the blended mixture under conditions of high shear and low temperature to produce a reacted mixture; (3) adding a stabilizer to the reacted mixture to produce the chemically functionalized renewed rubber composition.
