A power operator assembly is provided for moving a sliding door between a sliding door of a motor vehicle between a closed position and an open position. The power operator assembly includes a guide rail fixedly secured to the motor vehicle and defining a rail length. A slide mechanism slidingly engages the guide rail. A drive is fixedly secured to the guide rail for selectively moving the slide mechanism along the guide rail in either direction. First and second cables each extend between the sliding door and the slide mechanism for moving the sliding door as the slide mechanism is driven along the guide rail. A compound pulley set is operatively connected to the drive and receives the first and second cables for powered movement of the sliding door a multiplied distance greater than the rail length as the slide mechanism is driven along the guide rail.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Regulierventil für Türschliesser und hydraulische Drehflügelantriebe mit einer Verstellschraube (1) und einer damit verbundenen Ventilhülse (2). Um ein Regulierventil der eingangs erläuterten Art zu schaffen, das Fluchtungsfehler zwischen der Mittelachse des Verstellgewindes und der Mittelachse des Führungsbereiches ausgleichen kann, das weiterhin eine Verdrehung der Ventilhülse (2) verhindert und das durch einen modularen Aufbau mit wenig Aufwand an entsprechende Einsatzbedingungen angepasst werden kann, ist erfindungsgemäss vorgesehen, dass die Verstellschraube (1) und die Ventilhülse (2) über eine Schnappverbindung (14) miteinander verbunden sind.

The present invention relates to automatic door assemblies and swing operators therefor. One aspect of the invention provides a swing door operator that has spring return breakout and from motor driven opening. Another aspect of the invention provides a swing door operator that is non-handed with spring return from either direction. Another aspect of the invention provides a swing door operator in which spring force is transmitted to the operator output member via a cam structure. One aspect of the invention provides a swing door operator that has opening in the housing thereof for easy access to the operator motor. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for servicing a door operator. Another aspect of the invention provides a door operator with a spring force adjusting member that moves in the generally longitudinal direction of the spring structure. Another aspect of the invention provides a method for adjusting the spring force of the spring structure in a door operator. The invention relates to an emergency opening device for a preferably automatic two-panel sliding door having an energy storage element embodied by a rubber belt (6). Said rubber belt (6) is on one side irremovably fixed in a support (9) and on the other side removably fixed to a holding device (7) by means of a slide (8). During normal operation of the sliding door the pretensed rubber belt (6) has no effect. The holding device (7) releases the slide (8) with the rubber belt only in an emergency, such as a fire or power failure. The slide (8) interacts with the pulley carriages (5b) of the sliding door and by means of the energy stored in the rubber belt (6) moves the sliding panels (1a, 1b) into the fully opened position. To prevent a sudden, severe impact of the slide (8) against the pulley carriage (5b) the slide (8) comprises a friction brake (82, 83, 84). This brake (82, 83, 84) is released by a control device (56) only after the slide has contacted the pulley carriage (5b) so that the entire energy stored in the rubber belt (6) is then able to act upon the pulley carriage (5b). When the emergency is over the rubber belt (6) is tensed during the first closure of the sliding door by the movement of the pulley carriage (5b) and again fixed to the holding device (7).

A control and regulation for doors equipped with a microprocessor control is disclosed. Besides the normal path of information transmission to the microprocessor control, a second channel of transmission is created in that a safety surveillance system receives the same safety-relevant information as the microprocessor control. The safety surveillance system is capable of recognising errors, for example, when the microprocessor control has not switched off the door, the safety surveillance switches off the door, annonces the error in the system to an error recognition unit, and immediately stops the motor and thus the door by means of a redundant switching-off unit. The safety-relevant functions may be both manually and automatically checked.
