Abstract:
A method and system for representing and validating requirements of a software system is provided. The method includes capturing requirements of the software system. The method further includes converting the captured requirements into an executable business process definition. The executable business process definition is generated by generating a graphical process definition from each task flow corresponding to a use-case of the one or more use-cases and then converting each graphical process definition into the executable business process definition. Thereafter, the method includes representing the captured requirements to stakeholders in the form of navigational flow of user interface screens.
Abstract:
A method and system for calculating pipeline integrity business risk score for a pipeline network is provided. The method includes a step of first calculating a structural risk score, an operational risk score and a commercial risk score for each pipeline segment in a pipeline network. The method further includes calculating pipeline integrity business risk score for each pipeline segment. The structural risk score, operational risk score, commercial risk score and pipeline integrity business risk score for each pipeline segment is rolled-up to calculate the respective risk scores of a pipeline network. The rolled-up risk scores are calculated by computing weight factors for each pipeline segment, relative risk scores weight of each pipeline segment and relative risk scores contribution of each pipeline segment. The system of the invention comprises executable files, dynamic linked libraries and risk score computing modules configured to display the risk scores using a dashboard.
Abstract:
The invention describes a computer-implemented method and system for assessing the progress of a project in terms of its schedule. The method includes receiving project data and based on the project data, calculating a first period (PE) after which a current earned value (EV) was expected to be realized. The method also includes calculating a second period (PR) in which the current EV has been realized. Further, the method includes calculating a fraction component (EF) of a period when the current EV was expected to be realized and finally, calculating an earned schedule performance index (ESPI) based on PE, PR and EF, wherein the ESPI indicates whether the project is on schedule.
Abstract:
A method and system for searching one or more documents in a Local Area Network (LAN) is provided. The system includes a synchronization module, a link module, and a search engine. The synchronization module automatically synchronizes multiple knowledge sources, such as one or more pre-defined databases, one or more software version control system (SVCS) databases, and so forth, with a server at various pre-defined intervals of time. The link module connects at least one user with the server in response to a request received from the user. Once the user is connected with the server, the link module receives a search query from the user and forwards it to the search engine. The search engine then identifies one or more results in the synchronized documents and provides search results to the link module. The link module then displays the results to the user.
Abstract:
A method for providing applications to one or more requesting devices is provided. The method comprises a step of first receiving an application request from the one or more requesting devices. The method includes extracting details of the request. Further markup language structure for corresponding page of the application is generated. The markup language structure is generated based by invoking page handlers which includes contacting business logic layer to get information required to be embedded in the corresponding page. The output page is then provided to the requesting device.
Abstract:
A method and a system for generating one or more transition plans for one or more applications of an organization are provided. Transition information for identifying a set of applications for transition is obtained from information corresponding to the one or more applications. One or more groups of the identified set of applications are created. Further, one or more activities for transition execution are identified for each application of the identified set of applications. Thereafter, one or more transition plans comprising the one or more identified activities are generated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for generating one or more test cases for testing a software application by identifying one or more units of functionalities of the software application, structuring use cases of the software application, using the identified units of functionalities, generating a first set of use case activity diagrams from the structured use cases, and generating test cases from the generated use case activity diagrams.
Abstract:
A system for managing and reporting data from a plurality of data sources for at least one user is disclosed. The plurality of data sources contain data related to one or more undertakings of the at least one user. The system includes a data collection module that collects data from the plurality of data sources. Further, the system includes a processor that processes collected data to form a set of analytical data. Furthermore, the system includes a user interface to display the set of analytical data to the at least one user in the form of a report. The set of analytical data display a current state of the data collected from the plurality of data sources.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method, system and computer program product for developing a meta-model schema on the basis of one or more requirements associated with an enterprise process. The method includes defining various sets of meta-models based on the requirements and a predefined ontology. Each set of meta-models includes at least one meta-model that has been defined based on at least one other meta-model of the set of meta-models. Thereafter, the sets of meta-models defined for the corresponding requirements are integrated to develop the meta-model schema.
Abstract:
A method for tracking one or more portable devices in real time to detect theft of the one or more portable devices is provided. The method enables, firstly, interrogating a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag via a RFID reader during successive sweep intervals. The sweep interval represents active state of the RFID reader. Secondly, the method enables receiving one or more pairing information from the RFID tag. Further, the method enables comparing the one or more pairing information with corresponding one or more pairing information stored in the RFID reader. Finally, the method enables generating an alert signal via the wearable-band or the one or more portable devices when the one or more pairing information does not match with the corresponding one or more pairing information stored in the RFID reader.
