Abstract: A method and system for representing and validating requirements of a software system is provided. The method includes capturing requirements of the software system. The method further includes converting the captured requirements into an executable business process definition. The executable business process definition is generated by generating a graphical process definition from each task flow corresponding to a use-case of the one or more use-cases and then converting each graphical process definition into the executable business process definition. Thereafter, the method includes representing the captured requirements to stakeholders in the form of navigational flow of user interface screens.

Abstract: A method and system for calculating pipeline integrity business risk score for a pipeline network is provided. The method includes a step of first calculating a structural risk score, an operational risk score and a commercial risk score for each pipeline segment in a pipeline network. The method further includes calculating pipeline integrity business risk score for each pipeline segment. The structural risk score, operational risk score, commercial risk score and pipeline integrity business risk score for each pipeline segment is rolled-up to calculate the respective risk scores of a pipeline network. The rolled-up risk scores are calculated by computing weight factors for each pipeline segment, relative risk scores weight of each pipeline segment and relative risk scores contribution of each pipeline segment. The system of the invention comprises executable files, dynamic linked libraries and risk score computing modules configured to display the risk scores using a dashboard.

Abstract: The invention describes a computer-implemented method and system for assessing the progress of a project in terms of its schedule. The method includes receiving project data and based on the project data, calculating a first period (PE) after which a current earned value (EV) was expected to be realized. The method also includes calculating a second period (PR) in which the current EV has been realized. Further, the method includes calculating a fraction component (EF) of a period when the current EV was expected to be realized and finally, calculating an earned schedule performance index (ESPI) based on PE, PR and EF, wherein the ESPI indicates whether the project is on schedule.

Abstract: A method and system for searching one or more documents in a Local Area Network (LAN) is provided. The system includes a synchronization module, a link module, and a search engine. The synchronization module automatically synchronizes multiple knowledge sources, such as one or more pre-defined databases, one or more software version control system (SVCS) databases, and so forth, with a server at various pre-defined intervals of time. The link module connects at least one user with the server in response to a request received from the user. Once the user is connected with the server, the link module receives a search query from the user and forwards it to the search engine. The search engine then identifies one or more results in the synchronized documents and provides search results to the link module. The link module then displays the results to the user.

Abstract: A method for tracking one or more portable devices in real time to detect theft of the one or more portable devices is provided. The method enables, firstly, interrogating a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag via a RFID reader during successive sweep intervals. The sweep interval represents active state of the RFID reader. Secondly, the method enables receiving one or more pairing information from the RFID tag. Further, the method enables comparing the one or more pairing information with corresponding one or more pairing information stored in the RFID reader. Finally, the method enables generating an alert signal via the wearable-band or the one or more portable devices when the one or more pairing information does not match with the corresponding one or more pairing information stored in the RFID reader.
