Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide environment safe to human and objects by adsorbing and removing various pollutant gases such as fumigation gas remaining after fumigation treatment, volatile organic compounds (VOC), or atmospheric pollutant gases, safety controlling after fumigation of a refrigerator, adsorbing and removing VOC or atmospheric pollutant gases occurring from building materials of new houses or after reforming. SOLUTION: This pollutant gas removing paper is formed by preparing a coating material using single coconut shell activated carbon or together with hydrophilic gas adsorbing powder, and an adhesive; applying the coating material on the whole face or a part of the face of at least one face of a base paper; and laminating and pressing thin sheets while the coating material is wet, and dried to be integrally formed. A mixing ratio of the gas adsorbing powder with the adhesive is regulated, the coconut shell activated carbon with an average particle size of 50 μm or less is used as the gas adsorbing powder, and iron-containing aluminum hydrate, zinc aluminosilicate-based minerals or silica gel is used as the hydrophilic gas adsorbing powder, and the mixing ratio is regulated. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the support of a machine plate for an electrophotographic system lithographic printing plate, the penetrating amount of a dampening water to which at printing is small and consequently the developing amount of the elongation in and the number of wrinkles of a printing plate is small and a few. SOLUTION: In the support of the machine plate for the electrophotographic system lithographic printing plate, both the measured areas penetrated with solvent of an under layer, which is the surface coated with a sensitizing agent of the support, and of a back layer, which is the surface opposite to the under layer, are not more than 30% under the condition that the measurement of the area is performed by contacting the support of the machine plate for the electrophotographic system lithographic printing plate made of base paper mainly consisting of a paper having coating layers on both its front and rear sides with a test liquid prepared by dissolving 0.1-2 mass% of an organic solvent soluble type dye in an organic solvent for 30 s. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dew condensation preventing method, more detailed, the dew condensation preventing method for preventing dew condensation on the inner surface of a hollow structure such as a bridge, a steel house, a container. SOLUTION: A humidity conditioning material is installed on the inner surface of the semi-hermetically closed hollow structure and the absorption and discharge of steam are repeated by the humidity conditioning material to prevent the dew condensation on the inner surface of the hollow structure. The humidity conditioning material is obtained by supporting a granular highly water-absorbent polymer 2 on a fibrous sheet 1 by microfibrils 3 having hydration properties obtained from cellulose or a cellulose derivative. The humidity conditioning material may be housed in humidity permeable packages 4a and 4b. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an ammonia adsorbing sheet which has a large capacity for adsorbing/releasing moisture and such excellent performance that humidity is controlled in a short period of time, and on which sheet ammonia is adsorbed and from which ammonia is not desorbed. SOLUTION: This ammonia adsorbing sheet is composed of a paper-making fiber of 19-65 pts. mass, a thermally melt-sticking substance of 1-10 pts. mass and a mixture of 25-80 pts. mass which consists of an ammonia adsorbent, non-crystalline inorganic powder and a fossil shell. The ammonia adsorbent and the non-crystalline inorganic powder are specified and the ratio of the fossil shell to be mixed with the ammonia adsorbent and the non-crystalline inorganic powder is also specified. The ammonia adsorbing sheet can be stuck to a plate-shaped or sheet-shaped humidity controlling base material and can be impregnated wetly with an adhesive containing no formalin or a fungicide. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oilproof sheetlike material that has low air permeation resistance, is safe to the human body, has excellent oilproof performance and excellent productivity and is preferably useful as a packaging material for a food especially using edible oil. SOLUTION: The oilproof sheetlike material is obtained by adding guar gum and a fatty acid to a sheetlike material consisting essentially of a papermaking fiber. Specifying the addition ratio of guar gum to the fatty acid, modifying the fatty acid with an epichlorohydrin-based agent and providing the surface of the sheetlike material with an oilproof layer obtain the oilproof sheetlike material having excellent oilproof performance. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-resistant wrapping material which has both excellent moisture permeability and excellent oil resistance to edible oils, can be recycled also after used, and does not have a problem also on food sanitation. SOLUTION: This oil-resistant wrapping material having the excellent moisture permeability is characterized by using a mixture of polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 85 to 100% and an average degree of polymerization of 500 to 2,500 with a cross-linking agent to dispose a 1 to 8 g/m 2 treated layer on at least one side of raw paper consisting mainly of wood pulp containing aspen wood in an amount of ≥30 wt. %. The beating degree of the raw paper and the kind and amount of the cross-linking agent mixed with the polyvinyl alcohol are specified and used. The beating degree of the paper and the kind and amount of the cross-linking agent mixed with the polyvinyl alcohol are specified and used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pearl pigment-coated sheet with unconventional and entirely new function of true-false judgment, and to obtain printed matter with the function of true-false judgment using said sheet. SOLUTION: The pearl pigment-coated sheet having the unconventional function of true-false judgment with the help of a sort of metameric phenomenon involving visible-ray region and infrared-ray region and a pearly-gloss layer is obtained by providing the surface of a colorless or colored sheet-like material with a combination of a printing layer with infrared-reflective performance, a printing layer with infrared-absorbing performance and a pearl pigment-coated layer. The printed matter is obtained by using the pearl pigment-coated sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain paper having a discrimination power of itself and others, capable of allowing itself and others to be discriminated by an iodine-starch reaction, and effective in a field of a printed paper for preventing counterfeit by allowing the paper to include a waterproof particulate composite of starch in the paper. SOLUTION: Composite particulates of starch obtained by granulating starch grains with an anionic binder or a cationic binder, and coating the product with a counter-ionic cationic or anionic material, and having 50-500 μm particle diameters and waterproof properties are colored by using a pigment solution soluble in an organic solvent into the hue in the degree not reproduced by a color copy machine. The obtained composite particulates of the starch is added into a paper stock, and subjected to papermaking to provide the objective paper. The paper contains no (modified) starch without the composite particulate bodies of the starch, and has a discrimination power of itself and others by an iodine-starch reaction by dropping an aqueous solution containing iodine on the paper or dipping the paper into the aqueous solution.
