    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paper for preventing forgery, in which only copy or print having color tone entirely different from a manuscript (real paper) is obtained when duplication by a color copying machine or printing by color scanner and color printer is carried out and a forgery-preventing printed matter. SOLUTION: In this paper for preventing forgery, a coating layer (1) mainly composed of a pearl pigment having rainbow color and an adhesive is formed on the surface of a base paper (B), and a coating layer (2) mainly composed of pearl pigment with rainbow color different from hue of the pearl pigment with rainbow color used for the coating layer (1) and an adhesive is formed on the surface of the base paper in a place different from the coating layer (1) and hues of these two pearl pigments with rainbow color have complementary color relation to each other. This forgery-preventing printed matter is obtained by applying printing of prescribed items to the paper for preventing forgery.
