A reflector clamping member (RCM) for fixating an ultrasound reflector (REF) to a flow conduit insert (FCI) of an ultrasonic flow meter (UFM) is disclosed, the reflector clamping member (RCM) comprising a fixation portion (FXN) for fixating the reflector clamping member (RCM) to the flow conduit insert (FCI) and a flexible portion (FLX) for contacting the ultrasound reflector (REF), wherein the flexible portion (FLX) is adapted for supporting at least one side of the ultrasound reflector (REF) so as to clamp the ultrasound reflector (REF) between the flexible portion (FLX) and the flow conduit insert (FCI) when the reflector clamping member (RCM), the ultrasound reflector (REF), and the flow conduit insert (FCI) are assembled. Also, a flow conduit insert assembly (ASY) comprising such reflector clamping member (RCM), an ultrasonic flow meter (UFM) comprising such reflector clamping member (RCM), and a method of fixating an ultrasound reflector (REF) to a flow conduit insert (FCI) are disclosed.

A slave device power supply (PS) is disclosed for a two-wire current controlled communication bus (CB) with a variable bus voltage (Vbus). A slave device (SD) is arranged to draw a constant slave current (Islave) from the current controlled communication bus (CB) and provide slave device functions. The slave device (SD) comprises a slave device power supply (PS) comprising an energy storage (ES) arranged to power the slave device functions, and a charger (CH) for charging the energy storage (ES) from the constant slave current (Islave), thereby affecting a charge voltage (Vchrg). The charger (CH) comprises an overflow circuit (OC) arranged to draw excess charge current (Ivent) from the constant slave current (Islave). The overflow circuit (OC) is arranged to draw the excess charge current (Ivent) when a relationship between the charge voltage (Vchrg) and the variable bus voltage (Vbus) fulfils a predetermined overflow criterion.

A measuring tube (MT) for a magnetic inductive flow meter (MFM) is disclosed, the measuring tube (MT) comprising: - a flow tube (FT) for carrying a flow of a conductive liquid to be measured, the flow tube (FT) having a flow tube wall (WLL) with an inner wall surface (IWS) and an outer wall surface (OWS), and at least two metallic electrode elements (EEl, EE2), each electrode element (EEl, EE2) being arranged in said wall (WLL), each electrode element (EEl, EE2) comprising an electrode section (ES) having an inner electrode surface (IES) with an inner electrode surface area extending along said inner wall surface (IWS), and a feed through section (FTS) having an outer cross section (OCS) with an outer cross section area at the outer wall surface (OWS), the inner electrode surface area being greater than the outer cross section area wherein the flow tube (FT) is a polymeric flow tube. Disclosed herein is a flow conduit insert (FCI) for a flow conduit (CON) of an ultrasonic flow meter (UFM), the ultrasonic flow meter (UFM) being arranged to measure a flow of a liquid passing through the flow conduit (CON) by means of an ultrasound signal, the flow conduit insert (FCI) being adapted for being inserted into the inner space of the flow conduit (CON), the flow conduit insert (FCI) being adapted for accommodating the entire path (PTH) in the flow conduit (CON) of the ultrasound signal, the flow conduit insert (FCI) having a first end (1EN) and a second opposite (2EN) end and an inner flow channel (CUN), said first and second ends (1EN, 2EN) being connected by the flow channel (CUN), the flow conduit insert (FCI) being adapted such that the flow of liquid passes through the flow channel (CUN), wherein the flow conduit insert (FCI) comprises a first and a second part (IPA, 2PA) forming the flow channel (CUN), said first and second parts (IPA, 2PA) each extending from said first end (1EN) to said second end (2EN), wherein each of said first and second parts (IPA, 2PA) comprises one or more guide elements (GUE) extending into the flow channel (CUN). Abstract:
A process of manufacturing a monolithic flow conduit insert for an ultrasonic flow meter is disclosed. The process comprises providing an inner, sacrificial mold part; inserting said sacrificial mold part in an outer mold part to form a cast volume for said monolithic flow conduit insert; clamping at least one ultrasonic reflector between said sacrificial mold part and said outer mold part; injecting a polymeric cast material into said cast volume to form said monolithic flow conduit insert; and dissolving said sacrificial mold part using a dissolving liquid, wherein said cast material fixates at least one of said at least one ultrasonic reflector in the flow conduit insert. Furthermore, a flow conduit insert and an ultrasonic flow meter is disclosed.
