    Abstract: The concrete floor structure comprises a lower plate (1) and an upper plate (5) in reinforced concrete. These plates are separated by a retractor (4), constituted by an insulating layer, which maintains a gap between the two plates. Each plate has a lower flexural resistance than the floor must be able to support. The two plates are connected together , in the regions where the floor is supported, by independent fastenings (6). These prevent relative sliding of the two plates so that the floor assembly has a sufficient flexure resistance. The lower plate has a thickness of the order of 10 - 20 cm and the upper plate has a thickness of the order of 5 - 15 cm. The spacing between the two plates is of the order of 3 - 15 cm. The insulating layer constitutes a water sealing layer and/or a sound insulation layer and/or a thermal insulation layer.

    Abstract: A metal fiber concrete composition for molding a concrete element, the composition being essentially constituted by a Portland cement, granular elements, fine elements for pozzolan reaction, metal fibers, a dispersing agent, optionally other additives, and water. The preponderant granular elements have a maximum grain size D of not more than 800 micrometers. The preponderant metal fibers have individual lengths 1 lying in the range 4 mm to 20 mm. The ratio R of the mean length L of the fibers divided by said maximum size D of the granular elements is not less than 10. The amount of preponderant metal fibers is such that the volume of preponderant metal fibers lies in the range 1.0% to 4% of the volume of the concrete after setting.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for excavation by successive cuts, using a cutting tool, in particular for producing a vault or a preliminary vault by filling cuts with sprayed concrete. Each cut is made by longitudinal penetration of the cutting tool, followed by extraction of this tool, so as to produce non-contiguous cuts (S1 to S7) separated by terrain intervals having a width less than the width of the action zone of the cutting tool, these cuts are filled with sprayed concrete, complementary cuts (S2 to S6) are subsequently made in the said intervals by trimming the surface of the concrete in the cuts already filled, and the complementary cuts are filled with concrete. The invention applies to producing cuts in a vertical or inclined excavation front.
