    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to an ostomy bag filter. In an embodiment, a filter assembly for venting gas from an ostomy bag is included having a first layer, an adhesive layer, an adsorbent element, and a second layer, the second layer configured to be welded to the ostomy bag at an annular weld area surrounding the second opening; wherein the adhesive layer is configured to adhere to the first layer, the adsorbent element, and the second layer, such that the first opening overlaps with the second opening; wherein the filter assembly is configured such that, when the filter assembly is welded over to the ostomy bag, gas from the ostomy bag flows axially through the adsorbent element and exits the filter assembly through the second opening; and wherein perimeters of the first layer, the adhesive layer, and the second layer are substantially aligned. Other embodiments are also included herein.

    Abstract: A fume extractor has an extractor housing (110, 210) defining an outlet (106, 206). A hose (120, 220) is coupled to the extractor housing that defines a first inlet (102, 202). A diffusion plate (130, 230) is coupled to the extractor housing that defines a plurality of openings (132, 232) cumulatively defining a second inlet (104, 204). A first supporting surface (160) is opposite the diffusion plate relative to the extractor housing and a second supporting surface (170) at least 80° to the diffusion plate, where the first supporting surface and the second supporting surface are configured to selectively rest on a planar surface. The fume extractor defines a hose channel (140) configured to selectively receive the hose.

    Abstract: A particle catcher for capturing entrained particles in a fluid is disclosed. The particle catcher can include an enclosure defining a flow channel between an inlet and an outlet. Trapping means may be incorporated into the particle catcher. Where provided, the trapping means can be arranged at or near the inlet to allow fluid comprising entrained particles to enter the flow channel through the inlet and to substantially prevent the fluid comprising entrained particles from exiting the flow channel through the inlet.     Abstract: An air cleaner assembly is disclosed, along with related methods. In one aspect, the air cleaner assembly has a housing including a housing body and a removable cover that together define an interior volume for holding a filter cartridge. The housing can include a first part of a first connection arrangement. The air filter cartridge can include a second part of the first connection arrangement. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be secured together place the air filter cartridge in a latched position by moving the air filter cartridge in a first direction. In one aspect, the first and second parts can be disconnected from each other to place the air filter cartridge in an unlatched position by moving the air filter cartridge in the first direction. The air cleaner assembly can include a second connection arrangement securing the air filter cartridge to the housing cover such that the housing body and housing cover are secured together.
