    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a cable connector with a tension relaxing member, having a small number of component items and capable of being easily assembled. SOLUTION: This cable connector is equipped with a housing 1 made of an insulating material for housing a plurality of contacts 2 connected to wires, a hood made up of a substantially hollow member and coupled to the housing 1, and a tension relaxing member 5 for fixing a cable to the hood. The hood is equipped with a first hood portion 3 and a second hood portion 4, connectable to each other, the tension relaxing member 5 surrounds the cable at least partly, and when the first and second hood portions 3, 4 are coupled to each other, the tension relaxing member 5 is fixed inside the hood portions 3, 4 by fastening the cable in cooperation with one of the hood portions 3, 4 and coupling the first and second hood portions 3, 4 to each other.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comply with requirement of a cable network used for a vehicle, etc., by providing a body having a first accommodating porting and a third connection accommodating portion opening in a dummy housing portion which can store an insertion member having a second accommodating portion, and a contact holder connecting member. SOLUTION: An electric connecting member 38 is inserted into a body 18 of a connector member through a housing portion 34 until a leg part 102 of the connecting member is satisfactorily positioned at a third connection accommodating portion 36 with a continuous shape. At this time, a contact is guided by a comb portion 109. Then, the leg part 102 remains left at a central position relative to the body 18 of the connector member, and branch parts 104, 106 open to accommodating portions 24, 28, respectively, and remain left orthogonally to each bottom surface of female members 26, 30. Next, an insertion member 32 for fixing the electric connecting member 38 to the third connection accommodating portion 36 is arranged in the housing portion 34. Finally, the connector member becomes into a condition which can accommodate a male member such as a member 14. The male member is simply inserted into the female member.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent earth continuity of a socket and a plug by coating the socket, which is a counter part of a plug, with a shield of a conductive material and extending the shield by a plate piece in which a projected part to form a spring is formed. SOLUTION: Shield members 2, 4, 5 are formed in the upper and lower faces of upper and lower arms 12, 13 of a socket 1 so as to enable the earth continuity of a socket 1 and a plug 7 to be inserted into the socket. A plate of the shield 2 comprises a main body extended to the front face by a tab forming an opened and approximately V-shaped spring. The main body is extended by a plate piece comprising a curved projected part 22 designed so as to be hooked on the back side of a bridge piece 10. The plug 7 is made of an insulating material and provided with a pair of electric contact members 8 which are complementary to electric contact members 6 and spatially arranged. By a connector having such a structure, electric contact members 6 are introduced into the contact members 8 to provided effective electric connection.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously attain the proper contact pressure of a terminal. SOLUTION: This terminal has a rear part formed out of a single conductive sheet metal and connected to a conductor, and a basket type front part formed out of an end wall, two side walls 26 and two upper half walls. In addition, each side wall 26 is provided with a guide means for an inserted male contact and a fixing means for internally fastening the basket type front part to a connector housing. Also, each of the upper half walls and the side walls 26 are jointed to an inner tub forming contact blades 29 by means of a 180-degree bent part, and the side walls 26 are formed to have two deformation parts 46 and 55, so as to alternately act on the upper and reverse sides of the contact blades 29 connected to the side walls 26. Furthermore, the deformation parts 46 and 55 form a gap for limiting the maximum travel of the contact blades 29 between an acceptance position free from contact pressure and a service position exposed to maximum contact pressure, so as to continuously adjust the contact pressure applied from the contact blades 29 to the male contact during the insertion thereof.

Further, a first stoppage means being provided on the side walls 11, 12, a second stoppage means 20 being provided on the side wall 8, these stoppage means are eagaged with each other in a rest position of the second housing 2 and the second housing 2 is energized in the direction of the rest position by the use of a spring means.

An insertion space of a connector plug 3 is formed in a third housing 28 of the board connector 2. In this connector system, the second housing 12 is fixed to the first housing, so as to be capable of sliding in the Z-direction, vertical to a hole on the bottom surface of the first housing. A positioning means in X and Y-directions comprising a guide projection 40 formed in the side wall of the second housing 12 and a guide groove 39 formed in the side wall of the third housing 28, which jointly operates with the guide projection 40, are arranged.
