SOLUTION: This connector has a first module 1, and the first module 1 has a housing element 100, a contact portion carrier 101 that is an inserting portion, a grid 107 guiding at a rear side and supporting a cable, and connecting member 105 provided with a passage arranged between the contact portion carrier 101 and the grid 107 for wiring. The contact portion carrier 101 that is the inserting portion is held in the housing element 100. The contact portion carrier 101 can be moved between a front side position in looseness of the connection member 105 and a rear side position where the connection member 105 is crimped to the grid 107.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comply with requirement of a cable network used for a vehicle, etc., by providing a body having a first accommodating porting and a third connection accommodating portion opening in a dummy housing portion which can store an insertion member having a second accommodating portion, and a contact holder connecting member. SOLUTION: An electric connecting member 38 is inserted into a body 18 of a connector member through a housing portion 34 until a leg part 102 of the connecting member is satisfactorily positioned at a third connection accommodating portion 36 with a continuous shape. At this time, a contact is guided by a comb portion 109. Then, the leg part 102 remains left at a central position relative to the body 18 of the connector member, and branch parts 104, 106 open to accommodating portions 24, 28, respectively, and remain left orthogonally to each bottom surface of female members 26, 30. Next, an insertion member 32 for fixing the electric connecting member 38 to the third connection accommodating portion 36 is arranged in the housing portion 34. Finally, the connector member becomes into a condition which can accommodate a male member such as a member 14. The male member is simply inserted into the female member.
