Abstract: The wheel is extruded in two parts from a plastic, preferably acetal copolymer or polyamide. Each part has a circular disc as a central flange and blades connected both with the circumferential surfaces and a plane surface of the associated circular disc. One wheel part has the wheel hub, and both parts are centred and joined together by a hole and pin connection. One disc of the central flange has three slits while the other disc has self-locking bayonet closure-like hooks.

Abstract: The hinge is provided with weight balancing compression springs and it is used for flaps, lids or doors. The moving part is readily held independently of the turning moment produced by the spring force. Only a slight spring force is necessary for holding the moving part in fully or partly open position. The swivelling hinge has a pivoted lever (11), which has a cylindrical bore with side grooves (14) to accommodate a guiding piston (15). The latter has a cylindrical bore (16) at right angles to its axis. The compression spring (17) is held in this bore. The spring loaded bolts (18, 19) ratchet into the grooves (14). The pivoted lever (11) is held on the swivelling hinge parts. The fixed (1) and the swivelling (3) hinge parts are connected by a guiding lever (12).

Abstract: Shock absorber for washing machine comprises a cylinder, a longitudinally displaceable Al piston with a piston rod, and a compression spring supported between the piston and a closure member of the cylinder. The piston acts as a frictional and guide member. In the outer surface of the piston are formed blade-like grooves on which is disposed a friction coating. The piston may be in the form of a longitudinally slotted pipe which is guided on a cup spring in the region of each of its end faces. The friction coating is pref. made from polyester fleece, which has no gas inclusions cf. conventional friction coating made of foamed polyester. The rating of each shock absorber can be adjusted by tightening a nut on the end of the piston rod. This allows individual components to be mfd. with greater tolerances.
