The present invention relates to a magnetic-nanoparticle/platinum-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite and to a method for preparing same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a magnetic-nanoparticle/platinum-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite and to a method for preparing same, wherein the composite can be used as a substitute for peroxidase in an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), biosensors or color diagnosis sensors which use enzymes. The method for preparing the magnetic-nanoparticle/platinum-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite comprises: (a) a step of fixing magnetic nanoparticles to porous carbons to prepare a magnetic-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite; and (b) a step of fixing platinum nanoparticles to the magnetic-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite to prepare a magnetic-nanoparticle/platinum-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite. According to the present invention, the magnetic-nanoparticle/platinum-nanoparticle/porous-carbon composite exhibits high activity as peroxidase which is remarkably improved as compared to conventional composites in which magnetic nanoparticles are used alone. Therefore, the composite of the present invention can be fixed alone or together with an organic enzyme, and used as a highly sensitive inorganic signal inducer. The composite of the present invention has the effects of high-sensitivity color diagnosis on the material serving as an objective substrate for enzymes, and is reusable and thus economically advantageous.

The reactor includes an inlet port (510) into which water and gas are supplied, an outlet port (540) disposed opposite the inlet port, a hollow jacket (580) extending from the inlet port to the outlet port, a hollow outer helix (550) installed in the hollow jacket, and an inner helix (560) installed in the outer helix. The gas and water that are supplied into the inlet port react with each other to form gas hydrate in a channel defined between the inner helix and the hollow jacket.

The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating arthritis, containing an extract of an herbal medicine mixture of Schisandra chinensis Baillon, Scutellaria baicalensis and Kalopanax pictus Nakai as an active ingredient. The extract of an herbal medicine mixture of Schisandra chinensis Baillon, Scutellaria baicalensis and Kalopanax pictus Nakai contained in the composition of the present invention inhibits the synthesis and breakdown of extracellular matrix components of chondrocytes containing hyaluronic acid in the joint of a person, which might otherwise generally occur in the joint of a patient suffering from osteoarthritis. The extract of an herbal medicine mixture contained in the composition of the present invention relieves edema and pain which are the cardinal symptoms of arthritis. Therefore, the composition of the present invention containing the extract of an herbal medicine mixture can be effectively used in preventing or treating arthritis.

The present invention relates to a sensor used together with a detector to measure biomaterial, and to an apparatus using same. A sensor for measuring biomaterial according to the present invention comprises: a body portion with a three-dimensional shape, having a biomaterial introduction hole, and attachable and detachable to/from a detector; a sensor portion with a plurality of reaction electrodes formed on one surface thereof for causing a biochemical reaction in a biomaterial, and a plurality of transfer electrodes formed on the other surface thereof for transferring a biochemical-response-generated signal to the detector; and an analyzer reagent fixed above the reaction electrodes to biochemically respond to a biomaterial. The sensor portion, together with the body portion, forms a reaction chamber connected to the biomaterial introduction hole, and is attached to the body portion such that the reaction electrodes are oriented toward the reaction chamber. According to the present invention, attachment and detachment is easy, even for the elderly, and the contamination of the sensor can be minimized.

The present invention relates to a container for mushroom cultivation and comprises a cylindrical body (1), a cover (2) that is installed at the inlet part (11) of the body (1), an aeration hole (21) that is punched into the cover (2), and a bottom cup (3) that is installed at the base of the body (1), wherein an inward curved part (4) is formed at the lower circumference of the bottom cup (3) so that the bottom cup (3) may be configured in a stepped form to comprise a main body part (30) the diameter whereof is the same as that of the body (1) and a bottom end part (31) the diameter whereof is less, so that the lower circumference part (51) of an incubator (5), wherein the growth of fruiting bodies is slow, is eliminated to provide a mushroom cultivation container with improved production, which particularly eliminates the drawback that as it approaches the lower circumference part (51) of the incubator (5), it is farther away from the aeration hole, so aeration properties become worse, and slower cultivation of mycelium at the lower circumference part (51) of the incubator (5) slows down the entire period of mycelium cultivation so that the cost of mycelium cultivation increases.

The present invention relates to a flame arrester for internal combustion engines, which is installed in a port of a crank case of a main engine and a sub-engine of a ship or another vehicle. In the flame arrester of the present invention, a plurality of embossments of a flame arresting unit, which is formed by layering a plurality of metal strips for arresting flame belching from the crank case, are circumferentially placed such that they are inclined relative to a radial axis of the flame arresting unit, thus increasing the flame transferring distance and flame heat dissipating and cooling surface area, and realizing exclusion of oxygen, thereby efficiently arresting flame.

A steel plate structure and a steel plate concrete wall are disclosed. A steel plate structure, which includes: a pair of steel plates, which are separated to provide a predetermined space; a structural member, which is positioned in the predetermined space, and which is structurally rigidly joined to one side of the steel plate in the direction of gravity; and a strut, which maintains a separation distance between the pair of steel plates, can be utilized to reduce the overall thickness of a steel plate concrete wall for efficient use of space, and to reduce the thickness of the steel plates for better welding properties and larger unit module sizes. Also, the axial forces or lateral forces applied on the steel plate concrete wall may be effectively resisted.
