L'invention porte sur une machine électrique tournante fermée intégrant un système de refroidissement qui comprend deux ventilateurs internes (181, 182) montés fixe sur l'arbre (160) du rotor (150), aux deux extrémités du rotor (150), faisant chacun face à la face interne (111, 121) d'un flasque (110, 120) comportant des ailettes (113, 123) aptes à orienter le flux d'air créé par les ventilateurs internes et aptes à capter sa chaleur. La carcasse, qui contient le rotor et le stator (190) de la machine électrique, est fermée de manière étanche par deux flasques. Le système de refroidissement comporte également des moyens de refroidissement externe pour refroidir la carcasse et des flasques, qui peuvent être par air (ventilateur 140) ou par liquide.
