Abstract: There is provided an image acquisition apparatus. The apparatus comprises a memory configured to store instructions; and a processor configured to: obtain distribution information representing distribution of an original visual information of at least one region of interest including an object under observation; determine an illumination pattern of a light source based on the distribution information so that a range of the original visual information of at least one region of interest including the object under observation falls within a pre-determined range; control the light source to illuminate the determined illumination pattern on the object under observation; obtain images of the object under observation illuminated by the light source with the determined illumination pattern; and estimate the original visual information for at least one region of interest including the object under observation by tracking back information on the obtained images based on the information on the illumination pattern.

Abstract: This application relates to an active current compensation device which actively compensates for a noise occurring in a common mode in each of two or more high-current paths. In one aspect, the active current compensation device includes a sensing unit configured to generate an output signal corresponding to a common-mode noise current on each of the two or more high-current paths, and an amplification unit configured to amplify the output signal to generate an amplified current. The device may also include a compensation unit configured to generate a compensation current on the basis of the amplified current and allow the compensation current to flow to each of the two or more high-current paths, and a malfunction detection unit configured to detect a malfunction of the amplification unit. The malfunction detection unit and at least a portion of the amplification unit may be embedded in one integrated circuit (IC) chip.

Abstract: Disclosed are an electrolyte membrane for a lithium-air battery, a method of manufacturing the same, a cathode for a lithium-air battery, a method of manufacturing the same, and a lithium-air battery including the electrolyte membrane and the cathode. Particularly, the lithium-air battery includes i) an electrolyte membrane, which is manufactured using an inorganic melt admixture including two or more nitrogen-oxide compounds and thus may have a very low eutectic point, and ii) a cathode, which is manufactured by reducing a metal at a fast speed on a carbon material. As such, the lithium-air battery is capable of stably operating even at low temperatures and providing high power output.
