    Abstract: PURPOSE: An inkjet print head is provided to reduce the size of the inkjet print head widthwise as a circuit board connected to an actuator is arranged in the height direction of an ink discharge unit. CONSTITUTION: An inkjet print head (1000) includes an ink discharge unit, an ink supply unit, a connection unit (400), and an adhesive layer (500). The ink discharge unit includes a nozzle (210), a pressure chamber (220), a restrictor (230), a manifold (240), and an actuator. The ink supply unit includes an ink tank (340) supplying ink to the manifold; and a circuit board (330) transmitting control signals to the actuator. The connection unit electrically connects the circuit board and the actuator. The adhesive layer is spread between the ink discharge unit and the ink supply unit and has predetermined thickness so that a space in which an actuator can be arranged is formed between the ink discharge unit and the ink supply unit.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An inkjet print head and a temperature measuring method thereof are provided to simplify the manufacturing process of an inkjet print head since there is no need for a temperature measuring unit. CONSTITUTION: An inkjet print head comprises a first ink chamber(224), a second ink chamber, piezoelectrics(250) and a measuring unit(40). The first ink chamber stores ink to discharge it to the nozzle. The second ink chamber controls the pressure of the discharged ink. The piezoelectrics supplies the driving force for discharging the ink to the first ink chamber. The measuring unit measures the capacitance of the piezoelectrics in order to measure the temperature of the ink which is discharged to the nozzle.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An ink-jet head assembly and a viscosity controlling method which is used for the same are provided to discharge ink in a desired viscosity by measuring the viscosity of ink before flowing in an ink-jet head. CONSTITUTION: An ink-jet head assembly comprises an ink-jet head(20), an ink cartridge(12), and a matter property measuring device(40). The ink-jet head includes a nozzle discharging ink. The ink cartridge is combined with an ink jet head and to supplies ink to the ink jet head. An intermediate ink chamber for supplying ink to the ink jet head is formed in the ink cartridge. The matter property measuring device measures the property of the ink flowing to the ink-jet head from the intermediate ink chamber. The matter property measuring device comprises a planar rotary type viscometer for measuring the viscosity of the ink. A conical shape rotating rotor of the planar rotary type viscometer is installed in the ink jet head.
