PURPOSE: A position detection apparatus of a moving object in a navigation system and its method are provided to detect a position of a vehicle accurately using a map constraint filter constituted by a linear model using map information. CONSTITUTION: According to the position detection apparatus of a moving object in a navigation system, a map data detector(420) detects map information of an area corresponding to position information of the moving object obtained by sensors from an external digital map storing part. A memory(430) stores the map information detected from the map data detector. A filter part(440) estimates an optimum position of the moving object by considering road error included in the map information on the ground of the position and traveling information of the moving object transferred from the sensors. And a map-matching part(450) receives optimum position information of the moving object from the filter part and corrects the optimum position information by matching the optimum position information to the map information stored in the memory.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for managing energy consumption in a home network system including multiple home devices. The method of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a measurement result of power consumption from each home device; collecting the measurement result of power consumption and generating power consumption information of the home devices by analyzing the measurement result; and transmitting the power consumption information to a user device when there is a request for the transmission of the power consumption information from the user device. The power consumption information includes power consumption information of each room in a house.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for converting a screen state in a portable terminal is provided to change a state of a screen which is outputted through a simple touch input. CONSTITUTION: A screen converting unit(104) outputs a central point for screen rotation if a touch input for moving a screen is canceled. The screen converting unit rotates a screen during outputting the screen with a central point as the center. The screen converting unit outputs a central point for the screen rotation in a location where a touch input for moving a screen is canceled. If a touch input is not detected during constant time, the screen converting unit cancels outputting a central point for the screen rotation.
Abstract:
A navigation terminal and a navigation method using satellite images are provided to perform a navigation function effectively by displaying the satellite images while guiding a path. A navigation terminal comprises a path calculating part(112), a satellite image request part(114), a satellite image storage part(116), and a control part(110). The path calculating part calculates a path to the destination when the destination is input by a user. The satellite image request part performs a process for downloading satellite images corresponding to positions on the path. The satellite image storage part stores downloaded satellite images. The control part displays the process for downloading the satellite images corresponding to the positions on the path and the satellite images corresponding to the current position.
