The present invention relates to a method for quickly and easily executing a certain function of a device based on data about the movement of the device, a device for the same, and a recording medium thereof. According to a desirable embodiment of the present invention, the device includes: a movement detection unit which detects the movement of the device in a standby mode of the device; a storage unit in which motion data based on the data about the movement and data about at least one function corresponding to the motion data are stored; and a control unit which controls the device to execute the function corresponding to the motion data of the device in the standby mode using the movement data, motion data, and function data.

Provided are a system and a method for connecting devices via a Wi-Fi network. The method which a device communication connects an external device to an access point via a Wi-Fi network comprises the steps of: receiving the device information of the external device from the external device that operates in AP mode; accessing the external device that operates in the AP mode by using the device information; and providing the external device with connection information on the access point, wherein, when the connection information is provided for the external device, the external device terminates operating in the AP mode, and then the external device accesses the AP based on the connection information.

PURPOSE: A content management method, an apparatus, and a recording medium are provided to easily find contents which are stored in the apparatus by automatically grouping the contents even if the amount of the contents produced in the apparatus is increased. PURPOSE: A Bluetooth communication method and a portable terminal applying the same are provided to transceive data by inputting the motion of the portable terminal. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal is set up in a Bluetooth standby mode(S220). If the motion of the mobile terminal is sensed, data is transmitted to a second mobile terminal through Bluetooth communication(S230). If the motion of the mobile terminal is sensed in a Bluetooth standby mode, it is sensed whether the second mobile terminal is in a pairing state(S255). If not, the second terminal performs pairing operation(S260). Data is transmitted to the second portable terminal(S275).

PURPOSE: A method for providing a UI(User Interface) based on the size of the motion, and a device adopting the same are provided to guide the function mapped with motion by execution the function mapped with the motion based on the size of the user motion and outputting the effects related to the function. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(150) senses a user motion. If the size of the motion exceeds a first critical size, a control unit(130) executes the function mapped with the motion. If the size of the motion is below the first critical size, the control unit outputs the visual effects related to the function mapped with the motion. The visual effect includes the contents which is able to give a hint for the user function. The control unit outputs the visual effects which are different depending on the size of the motion.

PURPOSE: A portable terminal having a dual touch screen using touch event which is detected on both sides and a method for controlling the contents of the same are provided to display contents variously according to a touch event which is detected on both side of a touch screen and use the touch event to provide various user interface. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen(110) displays the contents and has a display unit which is include in both sides and a first and a second touch sensor(120,140) installed in each side and detect a touch event through the touch sensor. If the touch event is detected through the first touch sensor, a controller(150) performs functions related to the contents. If the touch event is detected through the second touch sensor, the controller displays specific information related to the contents.

PURPOSE: An electronic apparatus implementing user interface and a method thereof are provided to enable a user to conveniently select the frequently-used functions by displaying a shortcut key. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(115) senses the approach of an input tool within a certain distance from a surface of a touch screen. When the approach is sensed in an area displaying contents, a display unit(112) displays a shortcut key associated with contents. A storage unit(120) stores the contents and the shortcut key for performing the function by using the contents. When the shortcut key is selected, the control unit performs the function by using the contents.

PURPOSE: A GUI display method according to the contact pattern of a user and a device with the same are provided to display a GUI(Graphic User Interface) which is suitable to a hand of a manipulating user by displaying the GUI according to the location of a finger of the user. CONSTITUTION: A tactile sensor unit(110) senses the contact of a user. A display unit(132) display a GUI. A control unit(140) receives a tactile sensing signal from the tactile sensor unit. The control unit determines the contact pattern of a user according to the tactile sensing signal. The control unit controls the display unit in order to display the GUI corresponding to the determined contact pattern.

A method for optimally sharing multimedia contents and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to offer optimized multimedia contents to users of each device by using shared profile information. When surrounding devices are connected through the wired/wireless network, profile information is transceived with the surrounding devices(230). The profile information of the surrounding devices are displayed in order of network distance(240). When the displayed profile information is selected, a list of sharable or playable contents of the surrounding device is displayed according to priority(260).
