Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing a voice call service in a mobile communication system and a system thereof are provided to supply an intrinsic service of a CS domain to UE connected to a mobile communication system which does not support the CS domain from a heterogeneous mobile communication system which provides a domain. CONSTITUTION: An MME(Mobile Management Entity)(203) transmits a paging message to an evolved node B(207) of a PS(Packet Switching) domain to supply a CS(Circuit Switching) domain service to UE(User Equipment)(209). If a mobile terminal is in the CS domain, the evolved node B sends a report message of instructing switching of the mobile terminal into the CS domain to the MME. The MME sends a request of temporarily pausing a service to a gateway of a PS domain. The service is provided to the mobile terminal in the PS domain.
Abstract:
A handover apparatus and method in a heterogeneous wireless communication network are provided to prevent a call interruption that may be generated as a mobile terminal moves between different wireless communication systems. A CS(Circuit Switching) interface(312) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from a CS network. An LTE/SAE(Long Term Evolution/Service Architecture Evolution interface)(313) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from an LTE/SAE network. An IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem) interface(314) transmits/receives data and a control signal to/from an IMS network. When handover to a BS(Base Station) of an LTE/SAE node is requested by a terminal via the CS interface, a controller(311) establishes a bearer with a BS of the LTE/SAE network by using the LTE/SAE interface, sets an IP address of the terminal through an SAE anchor of the LTD/SAE network, stores information of the terminal, registers the terminal to the IMS network, stores the corresponding result, and provides a handover response signal to the terminal via the CS interface.

본 발명은 3G 이동통신 네트워크와 디지털 방송 시스템(DBS)이 연동된 시스템에 있어서, 이동통신 네트워크의 가입 정보를 이용해 디지털 방송 서비스에 가입 신청을 수행하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 디지털 방송 수신이 가능한 이동 단말기를 사용하는 사용자가 이동 단말기를 통해 제공되는 디지털 방송 서비스에 가입을 요청하는 경우, 이동통신 네트워크의 DBS-CSCF는 사용자의 이동통신 가입 정보 또는 그 외의 추가적인 사용자 개인 정보를 포함한 서비스 가입 요청을 DBS의 SAS에게 전송한다. SAS는 가입 처리를 한 후, 이동 단말기에게 디지털 방송을 수신하기 위한 정보를 전송하고, 이동 단말기는 상기 정보에 따라 이동 단말기의 디지털 방송 수신 설정을 변경한다. 이러한 본 발명은, 가입 절차를 간단하게 줄여 사용자가 간편하게 디지털 방송 서비스를 받을 기회를 제공한다. 이동 단말기, 디지털 방송 서비스, 3G 이동통신 네트워크, DBS-CSCF(Digital Broadcasting Subscription-Call Session Control Function), SAS(Subscription Agent Server)

본 발명은 이동통신 시스템에 대한 것으로서, 특히, 단말(UE)이 IP 주소를 사용하여 통신을 수행하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 단말은, 단말이 기존 게이트웨이가 관리하는 기존 서브넷으로부터 새로운 게이트웨이가 관리하는 새로운 서브넷으로 이동했을 시, 상기 단말에 할당된 무선자원이 존재하는지를 판단하는 과정과, 상기 할당된 무선자원이 존재하지 않으면, 상기 단말에서 IP를 기반으로 하는 어플리케이션 서비스를 사용중인지를 판단하는 과정과, 상기 어플리케이션 서비스를 사용중이면, 상기 기존 서브넷에서 사용하는 기존 IP 주소를 상기 새로운 서브넷에서 재사용할 것으로 결정하는 과정과, 상기 어플리케이션 서비스를 사용중이 아니면, 상기 기존 서브넷에서 새로운 IP 주소를 사용할 것으로 결정하는 과정과, 상기 결정결과를 나타내는 지시 정보를 라우팅 영역 업데이트(RAU) 요청 메시지에 포함시켜 상기 단말로부터 상기 새로운 게이트웨이로 전송하는 과정을 수행한다. Abstract:
A method and a system for processing a call request for a VCC(Voice Call Continuity) service are provided to allow a VCC application server to perform a function related to a domain change later if it receives a request of a call directing from a CS(Circuit Switched) domain to VCC UE(User Equipment) so that a service can be maintained after the domain channel. A first network node of a CS domain receives a call request message for VCC UE(100). A VCC AS(Application Server) receives the call request message and checks whether there is an AS providing an IMS(Internet protocol Multimedia Sub-system) service to the VCC UE(100). If there is an AS, the VCC AS transfers the call request message to an IMS domain, receives a call request message which has been processed in the IMS domain, selects a domain for transferring the processed call request message, and transmits the processed call request message to the VCC UE(100) through the selected domain. The second network node of the IMS domain receives the call request message from the VCC AS, processes it, and transfers the same to the VCC AS.

A method and a system for processing a control message in a mobile communication system supporting a multimedia service based on the Internet protocol are provided to prevent a transmission delay and a re-transmission delay in processing a message in terms of an upper notion by distributing a request message to be processed by an application server by transmitting it according to the standard SIP protocol. A user terminal transmits a request message for a session to an IMS(Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) that supports a multimedia service according to the session initiation protocol. A representative application server of the IMS transfers the request message to a lower application server selected from plural lower application servers. The selected lower application server processes the request message and transmits a response message to the user terminal.

A method and an apparatus for notifying changed service information according to a terminal state in a wireless communication system are provided to enable various services to be used directly from a user's point of view and to be provided to users from a service provider's point of view. A method and an apparatus for notifying changed service information according to a terminal state in a wireless communication system comprises the following several steps. A connection with the other side UE(UE-B) is established and a service is used via the connection(200). An available service list(UE-ASL-A) for a UE(UE-A) is updated according to the state change, upon generation of an event triggering a change in the state of the UE(UE-A) during the service(202-206). The updated service list(UE-ASL-A) is sent to the other side UE(UE-B)(210). An available service list(UE-ASL-B) for the other side UE(UE-B) is acquired(211-218). The updated service list(UE-ASL-A) is compared with the service list(UE-ASL-B) and a list of common available services is updated according to the comparison(220-224). The user is notified of the updated common available services, while maintaining the connection(226).
