PURPOSE: Provided is an apparatus for inspecting battery for inspecting if prismatic type batteries like lithium batteries are inferior by using X-ray, which can prevent the deformation of the prismatic type batteries and perform the stable inspection. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for inspecting battery contains: a battery supplying conveyer(30); at least one transfer robot(50)(60) placed at the end of the battery supplying conveyer(30), which transfers the batteries(B), supplied from the conveyer(30), to an inspecting position and a discharging position; an X-ray generator(100) for irradiating X-ray to the transferred batteries(B), which is placed under the transfer robot(50)(60); a conveyer for discharging the batteries(B) of the best quality, which is placed near the transfer robot(50)(60); an inferior battery discharging robot(70) placed at the end of the conveyer for discharging the batteries of the best quality; a control part(80) controlling the inferior battery discharging robot(70) by judging if the batteries(B) are inferior on the basis of X-ray images.

PURPOSE: A recorder, in which thumbnail is recorded, a device and a method for recording thumbnail, and a device and a method for producing thumbnail are provided to more appropriately represent corresponding program, and to easily discriminate thumbnail by producing the thumbnail as animated image. CONSTITUTION: A recorder, in which thumbnail is recorded, includes program, and navigation information. The program contains video data and/or audio data. The navigation information defines thumbnail capable of being produced as animated image in connection with the program. The navigation information contains an identifier of corresponding program, production start location and time and production finish location and time inside the corresponding program.

PURPOSE: A disc having record producer information recorded therein and a system for recording and reproducing the information are provided to record information about a record producer in a user zone of an optical disc and reproduce the information from the disc. CONSTITUTION: An optical disc has a user zone where user data including DVD video and audio files is recorded or reproduced. A record information file including at least record name and song titles, words by tracks, composers and singer's name corresponding to the DVD audio files, and a producer providing file in which information a record producer wants to provide is stored are recorded in a predetermined region of the user zone. The predetermined area includes at least a root directory(200), a video title set directory(220) having DVD video files(222), and an audio title set directory(240) having DVD audio files(242). The producer providing file(202) is recorded in the root directory, and the record information file(244) is recorded in the audio title set directory.

본발명은 DVD 응용세션을포함하는멀티세션디스크, 기록및/또는재생장치와방법이개시되어있다. 본발명의멀티세션디스크는 CD-ROM(Compact Disc Read Only Memory) 포맷의리드인영역, 리드아웃영역과사용자영역으로구분되고, 사용자영역에는소정의파일시스템에근거한 DVD(Digital Versatile Disc) 응용의정보를저장하는 CD-ROM 세션을포함함으로서, 저렴한가격의 CD 미디어를이용하여짧은시간의재생을요하는뮤직비디오또는프리젠테션용으로사용이가능하고, 일반적인 CD 플레이어에서는오디오 CD 세션의오디오정보를재생하고, DVD 플레이어에서는 CD-ROM 세션의 DVD 응용을재생할수 있게되고, 멀티세션 CD를지원하는오디오 CD 플레이어에서는오디오정보뿐만아니라 DVD 응용을함께재생할수 있다.

PURPOSE: A method for inspecting defect management area information of a disc and a test apparatus for performing the same are provided to verify whether defect management area information is normally generated and updated during re-initialization with certification. CONSTITUTION: A C-1 disc(201) is a disc having only physical defects to test a disc driving unit capable of recording/playing information on a rewritable disc. A DMA mirror file providing part(203) includes primary defect list and secondary defect list information and provides a DMA mirror file which is test reference information satisfying a condition where a supplementary spare area is not full. A reference disc driving unit(205) is a disc driving apparatus which is modified to test an apparatus capable of recording/playing information on the disc. A C-2 disc(207) is a disc satisfying a DVD-RAM condition of a phase change recording method and having 4.7GB. A unit(209) for driving a disc to be tested is a disc recorder/player capable of recording/playing information on a rewritable disc. A verifier verifies a C-2 disc DMA mirror file(213) by using predicted reference information. After re-initialization with certification mode is performed, test information is generated from generated defect management information. The predicted reference information and the test information are compared to provide verification result with respect to the test information.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for identifying defect management area information of an optical disc upon initialization with certification and a test apparatus for performing the same are provided to identify whether defect management area information is exactly generated during initialization with certification. CONSTITUTION: A test type disc(11) is a disc having only known physical defects on a predetermined position of a blank disc. A drive(110) to be tested performs initialization with certification with respect to the test type disc(11) to generate DMA information and record the generated DMA information on the test type disc(11). An initialized test type disc(12) without certification provided from the drive(110) is mounted on a modified drive(120) which can read the DMA information. The modified drive(120) is called as a reference drive which is a test-only drive manufactured by a manufacturer. The modified drive(120) reads only the DMA information recorded on the initialized test type disc(12) with certification and generates a DMA mirror file(13) for the initialized test type disc with certification on a file system.

PURPOSE: A sector allocation method is provided to enhance the stability of data and a recording/playback rate by only allocating identical files to an ECC(Error Correction Code) block. CONSTITUTION: A sector allocation method comprises the steps of searching an ECC block occupied with the end of the data of a file recorded on a disk(410), deciding if all data demanded from a computer operating system is able to be recorded in the ECC block(420), deciding if the ECC block is not occupied with another file by referring to the free sector allocation information stored in a file system on the disk(430), generating an error indicating the shortage of a disk space if the ECC block is occupied with another file(440), and recording all data in the ECC block if the ECC block is decided not to be occupied with another file(450).

PURPOSE: A disk for writing basic development information and a regeneration method using the information are provided to avoid logical regeneration impossibility and to realize simple regeneration by using basic development information even if development by navigation fails. CONSTITUTION: A regeneration method of a disk comprises the steps of setting up a regeneration mode(S1), deciding the occurrence of an error while A/V(Audio and Video) data written on a disk are regenerated(S2), temporarily storing error position information in such a memory as an internal RAM(Random Access Memory) in a DVD(Digital Versatile Disk) player after retrying regeneration for several times(S3), deciding if regeneration in the basic development order by basic development information is needed(S4), reading out the basic development information from the disk if regeneration in the basic development order is selected(S5), regenerating the disk in the basic development order(S6), moving to a former navigation position if regeneration in the basic development order is not selected(S7), inputting a power off key or an ejection key(S8), and writing the error position information on the disk(S9).
