    Abstract: A polymer foam composite is provided to improve insulation property by dispersing hollow particles with low thermal conductivity with within a cell wall of a conventional polymer foam composite. A polymer foam composite comprises a plurality of cells(10) and a cell wall(20) that surrounds the cell. A plurality of hollow particles(30) is included within the cell wall. The polymer is selected from the group consisting of olefin-based resin, polyamide resin, polyurethane resin and polystyrene resin. The thickness of the cell wall is 4-10 micron and the diameter of the hollow particles is in a range of 100 nm-4 micron. The thickness of the outer cover of the hollow particles is in a range of 50 nm-100 nm.
