Abstract: PURPOSE: An ion exchanger, a manufacturing method thereof, and an ion exchange filter device, an electrodeionization device including the same are provided to improve ion exchange capacity by enabling high-density charge without using a cross-linking agent. CONSTITUTION: An ion exchanger comprises the polymeric scaffold of an open cell; and a microporous polymeric matrix filled into the polymeric scaffold of an open cell. The microporous polymeric matrix includes an ion-conductive polymer which is made by polymerizing a monomer having one or more ion exchange functional groups and one or more cross-linking functional groups; and a cross-linking agent having two or more cross-linking functional groups.
