    Abstract: A print array head and a fabrication method thereof. The print array head includes a positioning means for aligning coordinates of a nozzle plate of a page width size with coordinates of a heater chip. The positioning means includes a pair of aligning holes formed on opposite sides of a nozzle section of the nozzle plate, and a pair of aligning marks formed on of a recess of the heater chip. Since the nozzle plate and the heater chip are aligned with each other through observation of the aligning marks through the aligning holes, possible error between a desired an and actual attaching location of the heater chip with respect to the nozzle plate is minimized, and accordingly, printing quality and productivity are increased, while the fabricating costs are decreased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for compensation of printing error due to erroneous lineup of chips installed on array head of ink jet printer is provided to compensate printing error due to erroneous lineup of unit chips. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises five steps. The first step(S1) is to calculate allowable limit of rotating angle with respect to standard position of each chip within range where no space appears in a printed document. The second step(S2) is to determine whether rotating angle of each chip is within the allowed limit. The third step(S3) is to compensate processing tolerance of the chip if the chip is not within the allowed limit. The fourth step(S4) is, if each of the chips is within the allowed limit, to additionally install multiple nozzles on at least one ends of the chips and to determine whether each of the nozzles is to be used by a fixed printing test pattern to compensate horizontal printing error due to horizontal erroneous lineup of the chips. The fifth step(S5) is to adjust gaps between ink discharge of the chips to compensate vertical printing error due to vertical erroneous lineup of the chips by determining and adjusting reference time of voltage pulsed impressed to heaters installed on the nozzles of an array head by a fixed printing test pattern.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An entanglement preventing device for ices of a refrigerator is provided to smoothly withdraw ices by forwardly and backwardly driving a motor. CONSTITUTION: Upon reaching a defrosting timing, a control unit controls a defrosting heater driving unit to turn on a defrosting heater and remove frost deposited on an evaporator. After defrosting operation, a part of the surface of the ices in the upper portion in an ice container(32) by the defrosting heat. In refrigerating operation thereafter, the ices of which surface is melted are entangles with the surrounding ices. For the refrigerating operation, a step motor(28a) is driven forwardly and backwardly. A step motor driving unit is controlled to mix the ices in the ice container when the ices are entangled with each other. According to forward and backward driving of the step motor, an ice withdrawal coil(34) connected to a motor shaft(28b) rotates clockwise and counterclockwise. Therefore, melted ices are restrained from entangling with the surrounding ices and cubic shape of the ices is kept.
