    Abstract: PURPOSE: A highly fluorescent 1,2,4-linking hyperbranched polymer is provided to ensure extended bond length, wide absorption spectrum, funneling property, excellent thermal characteristic and high solid-state photoluminescence efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A highly fluorescent 1,2,4-linking hyperbranched polymer of chemical formula (I) has a branched unit in 1,2,4-(ortho- and para-) bonding structure and a linear unit in a para bonding structure. In chemical formula, Ar1 and Ar2 are aromatic or heteroaromatic group; R1 and R2 are H, or alkyl or alkoxy group; X is H or CN; F is a functionally terminated group.
