Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and system for retransmitting an uplink voice packet in a high speed wireless communication network are provided to continuously transmit a retransmission packet and a new packet, thereby minimizing uplink transmission power changes. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(120) comprises a communication unit(410), a communication setting unit(420), a data transmitting unit(430), and a controller(440). The communication unit communicates with a base station. The communication setting unit sets an uplink communication method based on allocation information transferred from the base station. The data transmitting unit transmits a data packet by a communication method set by the communication setting unit. The controller continuously transmits a voice packet after a retransmission voice packet during a process of retransmitting a voice packet by using a set communication method.
