Abstract: PURPOSE: A packet processing method of a wireless mesh router which supports a multi-mode is provided to support an AP service function supporting a communication with a client terminal which does not have a backbone network function and a wireless router function. CONSTITUTION: If the next destination of a frame which will be delivered to the final destination address is a client terminal address which is managed by a wireless mesh router, the frame is transmitted after converting into a frame which is transmitted between the wireless mesh router and a client terminal(S10,S11). Abstract: A method for selecting an RS(Relay Station) in a mobile communication system is provided to measure the signal quality of a signal transmitted from a UE(User Equipment) for an uplink slot time and select the RS on the basis of signal quality information included into an SS-SIG-REP message, thereby selecting the RS capable of providing the optimal service to each user out of plural RSs. A method for selecting a RS in a mobile communication system comprises the following steps of: performing network initialization when a UE enter a network initially(S100); transmitting a UL-MAP(Uplink-MAP) to the UE(S110); analyzing the UL-MAP allocated to the UE from a BS(Base Station) to recognize an uplink slot time(S120); measuring the signal quality of a signal transmitted from the UE for the uplink slot time and transmitting an SS-SIG-REP(Subscriber Station-Signal-Report) message including information about the measure signal quality to an upper RS collectively(S130); receiving the SS-SIG-REP message in the BS(S140); and selecting the RS for transceiving signals with the UE on the basis of the generated SS-SIG-REP message(S150).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A routing method for power saving in a wireless network is provided to embody a gradual proximity to a routing destination node and the optimal number of routing participant nodes. CONSTITUTION: An optimal integral number(n) for minimizing the power consumption between a destination node and a source node is established(S41), and n-1 numbers of concentric circles which equally divide the distance(d) between the destination node and the source node into "n" with the destination node in the center are established(S42). Then the present execution node is set as the source node(S43). The present execution node selects candidate nodes on the basis of the distance from the nearest concentric circle towards the destination node and selects a middle node, of which the power consumption is minimal among the candidate nodes(S44). Until the routing between the destination node and the source node ends, the selected middle node is set as the present execution node(S45,S46).
