Abstract: In the present invention, a wireless sensor network sets up a route by avoiding a congestive section of a wireless sensor network, and determines a channel access priority based on QoS requirements. A method for transmitting data according to the present invention comprises a step of confirming channel status information based on a packet delivery time required in the current time point between an originator and a neighboring recipient in the wireless sensor network, an average transmission delay for a predetermined time period, and the average between the length of an available space of interface buffer of the originator at the current time point and the length of an available space of interface buffer for the predetermined time period; a step of selecting a route which has the minimum delay and congestion based on the accumulated value of the channel status information; a step of controlling a backoff value according to an access category defined on a packet to be transmitted; and a step of transmitting the packet using the backoff value. Therefore, the prioritized data can be transmitted to the destination more quickly and stably than the other data, and the load balancing of the entire wireless sensor network can be obtained.

Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for eliminating noise from a biomedical signal. The apparatus for eliminating noise from a biomedical signal includes a wavelet learning unit for generating a probability table showing frequency of selecting a base wavelet function as probabilities through a wavelet train based on an input of a non-noise biomedical signal, and a noise eliminating unit for receiving a biomedical signal including noise and for performing wavelet conversion and wavelet reduction by using an optimal wavelet function selected based on the probability table to eliminate the noise from the biomedical signal. According to the present invention, noise generated in various experiment environments such as EEG (electroencephalography), EMG (electromyography), ECG (Electrocardiogram) or FNIRS (Functional Near Infrared Spectroscopy) may be optimally reduced. Furthermore, since the noise elimination is required in BSI and biomedical signal based diagnosis supplementary software technique, there is a strong possibility of commercializing the apparatus according to the present invention in future.
