Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for removing radar interference. The method for removing radar interference according to the present invention includes the steps of: sending a plurality of radar scan signals having different center frequency, and receiving a reflected laser receiving signal; acquiring frequency spectrum corresponding to distance index by performing Fourier transform of a frequency difference value between the receiving signal and the radar scan signal sent per each center frequency; calculating an average value of square values of a plurality of frequency spectra having equal distance index; calculating a difference value between the average value and the plurality of frequency spectra having equal distance index, and then selecting one of remaining center frequencies except a center frequency of frequency spectrum in which the difference value is larger than a reference value; and detecting position or speed of a target by sending a radar transmission signal having the selected center frequency. According to the present invention, the method can select a center frequency without interference by enabling an FMCW radar to search whether an interference signal exists, and the method can be used in various civil military areas like vehicles, robot and shipbuilding. PURPOSE: A distance measuring method of an FMCW(Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave) radar and an apparatus thereof are provided to easily improve precision in measuring the distance of a single paused target object and to reduce the load of system performance. CONSTITUTION: A distance measuring method of an FMCW radar includes following steps. The FMCW radar wave having fixed cycle(T0) and bandwidth(B0) is transmitted to a target object. A target reference distance(R0) is calculated using a first beat frequency extracted from a reflected waveform. Based on the target reference distance, a bandwidth unit variation and a time unit variation are calculated. After multiplying the bandwidth unit variation or the time unit variation n times, changed cycle and bandwidth are retransmitted to the target object. A second beat frequency is extracted using the FMCW radar wave which is received after being reflected from the target object. In case the second beat frequency and the first beat frequency are different, a precise distance to the target object is calculated using the second beat frequency. PURPOSE: An FMCW radar and a method for detecting the distance and speed of a moving object using the same are provided to use a transmission signal with at least two modulation cycles, thereby accurately and quickly detecting the distance between a moving object and the radar and the speed of the moving object. CONSTITUTION: An RF module(210) transmits an FMCW(Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) in response to a frequency modulation control signal outputted from a signal processing block(220). The RF module receives the signal which is made by reflecting the FMCW to the signal processing block. The signal processing block processes a signal outputted from the RF module. The signal processing block transmits a frequency modulation control signal to the RF module. The frequency modulation control signal comprises frequency modulation information.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for detecting the distance and the speed of a target using radar and a computer readable recording media for the same are provided to improve the accuracy of a speed and distance detecting operation with respect to a plurality of targets. CONSTITUTION: A frequency comparator(50) compares a correlated frequency candidate group a down-bit frequency to select a pair of up-bit frequency and down-bit frequency with respect to correlated frequency candidate. A power spectrum density comparator(53) compares each power spectrum density calculated at an up-bit frequency detector and a down-bit frequency detector. A phase change amount comparator(57) calculates the phase change amount at the up-bit frequency detector and the down-bit frequency detector.
