Abstract: A scrap service method is provided to allow a user to conveniently obtain desired contents by scraping and storing a particular portion of a program related to an interested key word by using a TV anytime meta data. A user proposes an interested key word(S101). Contents related to the key word are searched, and a segment of the relevant contents is scraped(S103). Meta data information of the scraped segment is generated(S105). Meta data is generated to have such a hierarchical structure that scraped segments are grouped by programs and the programs including the generated segment groups are grouped(S107). The segment is reproduced by using the meta data information of the scraped segment according to a user's request(S109).

Abstract: A bookmark service method is provided to bookmark a particular portion of a program and access a user desired portion by using time information regarding the program. A user reproduces a live broadcast or stored AV(Audio Visual) program contents in a terminal(S101). When the user requests bookmarking with respect to a particular segment while the contents are being reproduced(S103), a bookmark processing module of the terminal generates bookmark information(S105). The generated bookmark information is stored in a storage unit of the terminal(S107). A bookmark-requested segment is provided by using the stored bookmark information(S109).

Abstract: A system and a method for transmitting/receiving TVA(TV-Anytime) meta data are provided to transmit and receive the TVA meta data and TVA initial information together with digital broadcasting AV(Audio/Video) contents through a digital broadcasting channel to provide TVA service in a digital broadcasting environment. A TVA meta data transmitting apparatus(100) for providing TVA service in a digital broadcasting environment includes a TVA meta data encoder(120), an A/V encoder(110), and a multiplexer(130). The TVA meta data encoder encodes TVA meta data and TVA initial information initially required to provide the TVA service in the digital broadcasting environment into a TVA meta data transport stream. The A/V encoder encodes A/V contents into A/V transport streams. The multiplexer inserts the TVA meta data transport stream into the A/V transport streams to generate multiplexed transport streams and transmits the multiplexed transport streams.
