Abstract:
A method and system for MU-MIMO transmission in a wireless local area network are disclosed. A method for transmitting data in the wireless local area network, which supports the MU-MIMO, comprises the steps of determining types of a first frame to transmit data to at least one reception terminal; setting user identification information, which indicates the order of at least one reception terminal, based on the determination result; transmitting the first frame to at least one reception terminal corresponding to the user identification information; receiving a second frame corresponding to the first frame from the at least one reception terminal; extracting a beam-forming parameter for the at least one reception terminal based on the received second frame; and transmitting the user identification information corresponding to the at least one reception terminal and the beam-forming parameter to a physical layer.
Abstract:
A method of using channel information in a wireless LAN according to the present invention comprises the steps of: scanning, by each of multiple terminals, at least one access point existing nearby; transmitting, by each of the multiple terminals, a list of the at least one access point existing nearby to a target access point; transmitting, by the target access point, a beacon, wherein the beacon includes a flag for requesting information indicating a distance between at least one access point existing nearby each of the multiple terminals and the corresponding terminal; estimating, by the target access point, a location of each of the multiple terminals based on similarity between respective responses of the multiple terminals to the beacon; grouping the multiple terminals into at least one group based on the estimated locations; and allocating a single time slot to a single group.
Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a method for accessing a channel in a wireless LAN. The method for accessing the channel in the wireless LAN comprises the steps of: receiving packets to be transmitted from an upper protocol layer; classifying the packets and mapping the packets with a corresponding access category (AC); transmitting the packets to a queue corresponding to the mapped AC among a plurality of queues for each AC; independently applying a channel access function to each of the queues for each AC by avoiding collisions between the queues for each AC; and transmitting the packets which is to be first transmitted according to the application result of the channel access function wherein the packets includes a first frame to be transmitted to a first terminal; and a second frame to be transmitted to a second terminal, and the queues for each AC are for the first frame to be transmitted to the first terminal.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for frame scheduling performed by a wireless local area network terminal which transmits a frame in a wireless local area network system. The frame scheduling method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: adding a frame to be transmitted to a first step queue corresponding to the frame to be transmitted among multiple first step queues generated according to the receiver address and the traffic identifier (TID) of each reception station; deleting, by a first step scheduler, a first frame from a queue selected among the multiple first step queues, and transmitting the first frame to one queue among multiple second step queues; and transmitting, by a second step scheduler, the second frame of a queue selected from the multiple second step queues. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A signal processing apparatus and a method thereof in a network communication system for processing an OAM message on the Ethernet of a LAN communication system are provided to prevent the malfunction of the system by processing the OAM message. CONSTITUTION: A low-speed OAM processor(111) processes a message according to a user request. A high-speed OAM processor(123) divides and sorts OAM packets. The high-speed OAM processor divides the OAM packets into low speed packets and high speed packets. The high-speed OAM processor processes the OAM message. The high-speed OAM processor supplies the OAM message to a traffic manager(124).

Abstract:
An apparatus for processing a protection switching message transmitted to an Ethernet node and a method thereof are provided to minimize the loss of an inputted data frame by processing the protection switching message with the priority higher than a data frame. A forwarding table storage unit(100) stores forwarding information. A packet management processor(200) confirms whether a management message, included in a packet received from an adjacent Ethernet node, is a protection switching message, and then generates control message command information for updating the forwarding information. A packet transmission processor(300) updates the forwarding information related to the control message command information and then processes the protection switching message.
