Abstract: PURPOSE: Channel search device and method thereof using spread spectrum in a digital broadcasting system are provided to transmit a spread spectrum signal in the same band by performing spread spectrum of a pilot signal to a transmission signal. Abstract: PURPOSE: A channel estimator using the bandwidth spread in a digital broadcasting system and a method thereof are provided to additionally transmit a pilot signal of the spread code type to the digital broadcasting signal, thereby estimating the channel by extracting the pilot signal through the de-spreading of the signal which is received from a receiving device. 3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은, 지상파 디엠비(DMB) 신호의 스플라이싱 장치에 있어서, 엠펙 전송스트림 형태의 제 1 미디어 데이터를 분석하여 PID 정보, 시간정보, 및 연속 카운트값을 포함하는 해당 파라미터값을 추출하고, 스플라이싱 이후에도 이전에 출력되던 미디어 데이터의 파라미터와 엠펙시스템 규격상 일관성이 유지되도록 상기 제 1 미디어 데이터의 파라미터를 수정하기 위한 제 1 미디어데이터 분석 및 수정 수단; 엠펙 전송스트림 형태의 제 2 미디어 데이터를 분석하여 PID 정보, 시간정보, 및 연속 카운트값을 포함하는 해당 파라미터값을 추출하고, 스플라이싱 이후에도 이전에 출력되던 미디어 데이터의 파라미터와 엠펙시스템 규격상 일관성이 유지되도록 상기 제 2 미디어 데이터의 파라미터를 수정하기 위한 제 2 미디어데이터 분석 및 수정 수단; 및 상기 제 1 미디어 데이터 또는 상기 제 2 미디어 데이터 중에서 선택된 어느 하나를 출력하고 있다가 스플라이싱 시점에서 다른 하나의 미디어 데이터로 교체(splicing)하여 출력하기 위한 스트림 다중화 수단을 포함함.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for conditional-access-coding terrestrial DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) video data, audio data and additional data, and a conditional access system are provided to enable conditional access to a desired stream among video data, audio data and additional data included in terrestrial DMB video service. An apparatus for conditional-access-coding terrestrial DMB video data, audio data and additional data includes an analyzer(201) for analyzing input streams, a scrambling controller(203) for selecting a stream to be scrambled according to an external selection signal, a transport stream demultiplexer(202) for demultimplexing the streams from the analyzer to parse the streams into video data, audio data and additional data for each packet identifier, and outputting the stream to be scrambled, a stream which is not scrambled, and packet identifier information on the stream to be scrambled, and a control word generator(205) for generating a control word. The apparatus further includes a scrambler(204) for scrambling the stream to be scrambled using the control word, a conditional access data generator(205) for receiving the control word and generating conditional access data, and a transport stream re-multiplexer(207) for re-multiplexing the stream scrambled by the first scrambler, the stream which is not scrambled, and the conditional access data and outputting information on whether scrambling is performed and the packet identifier information on the scrambled stream.
