Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a seamless desktop using a virtual machine in a mobile terminal environment are provided to supply a seamless desktop by using a virtual machine in a mobile terminal environment. CONSTITUTION: A local server/gateway(500-1) stores and manages a desktop image, and base stations(200-1,200-2) create a virtual machine by using the desktop image provided from a local server/a gateway according to the request from a mobile terminal. The base stations start the driving the virtual machine, and an external local server/gateways(500-2,500-3) store the desktop images, and provides the desktop images to the local server/gateways.

Abstract: A plug-in based management application system and a management method using the system are provided to offer a data processing and CIM(Common Information Model) client part corresponding to a CIM provider in a plug-in type without correcting or re-distributing a basic management application to dynamically expand a management function. Abstract: A method and a device for managing application of a USB device in a Linux desktop are provided to inform a user of connection/disconnection information of the USB device if a USB event occurs in the Linux desktop, and output directory content to the user in real-time when a file system according to connection of the USB device is mounted to the Linux desktop. A USB event analyzer(120) recognizes and analyzes a USB event of the USB device received from a Linux kernel. An informer(140) informs the user(10) of a USB event analysis result in real-time through a user interface(150). A USB device information processor(130) obtains USB device information according to the USB event and updates an entry for the USB device information in a device information list. The informer informs the user of entry information updated in the device information list. The USB device information processor adds the entry for the USB device to the device information list when the USB device is connected and removes the USB device entry from the device information list when the USB device is disconnected.
