Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for recognizing a vehicle location are provided to supply the location information of the vehicle without a GPS. CONSTITUTION: A location information receiver receives location information corresponding to a sensing point generated by sensing a vehicle passing the sensing point. A location recognizing device(200) estimates a current location of the vehicle based on control information and sensing information when the location information is not received and corrects the estimated location by using the location information when the location information is received. The location recognizing device is connected to at least one external sensing device(100).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An RFID tag attaching device for ship block management, an RFID reader, and a transporter for ship block transportation are provided to confirm an identification number of a ship block by easily reading an RFID tag even if the transporter enters into any kind of direction. CONSTITUTION: An RFID(Radio Frequency ID) tag(102) stores the management information of a ship block. An RFID tag holder(101) accepts the RFID tag. A beeper(103) is accepted to the RFID tag holder with the RFID tag and generates a beep sound according to a beep request signal. An attach unit is connected to the top of the RFID tag holder. The attach unit(104) has means attached to the lower part of the ship block in order to cling the RFID tag holder to the lower part of the ship block.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A device and method for predicting the location of a block are provided to easily manage blocks in an industrial field, thereby increasing work efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A barcode recognizing unit(102) recognizes a tag of a barcode attached to both sides of a block. A navigation unit(106) predicts a current location in real time. A synchronization unit(108) tags the predicted location information of a point of time when the barcode is recognized. A location predicting unit(110) calculates the location of the block based on tagging information transferred from the synchronization unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A page mapping method of space data is provided to perform spatial indexing in a spatial grid method according to spatial proximity to map the space data or re-map change data through a mapping table, thereby reducing the frequency of merging or erasing data pages. CONSTITUTION: According to spatial proximity, a spatial index is given to space data(504). The spatial index shows the spatial proximity. A logical page or a physical page is mapped according to the spatial proximity in a mapping table for the space data where the spatial indexing is performed(506). When the space data is changed, a changed page is remapped in a residual logical page or a residual block of the mapping table(508~512).

이동 객체의 과거 궤적 정보를 이용하여 최적 거리를 산출하기 위한 방법 및 장치, 및 과거 궤적 정보를 이용하여 교통 정보를 제공하기 위한 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 의한 최적 경로 탐색 방법은 출발지 및 목적지를 수신하는 단계; 출발지로부터 목적지까지의 정적 경로(static route)들을 탐색하는 정적 경로 탐색 단계, 정적 경로들에 상응하는 궤적 정보를 독출하는 궤적 정보 독출 단계, 및 궤적 정보를 기반으로 정적 경로들 중에서 최적 경로를 탐색하는 최적 경로 탐색 단계를 포함한다. 궤적 정보는, 이동 객체(moving object)가 도로망의 소정 노드를 통과할 때 이동 객체의 네비게이션 장치로부터 소정 통신망을 통하여 궤적 정보 서버로 제공되며, 궤적 정보 독출 단계는, 하나 이상의 노드를 포함하는 세그먼트에 대하여, 세그먼트 내의 최초 노드의 위치, 최초 노드를 통과한 속도, 최초 노드를 통과한 시각, 세그먼트 내의 최후 노드의 위치, 최후 노드를 통과한 속도, 및 최후 노드를 통과한 시각 중 적어도 하나를 독출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하여, 고가의 교통 정보 수집 장치를 이용하지 않고서도 도로망 세그먼트에 대한 교통 정보를 용이하게 수집하여 제공할 수 있으며, 도로망 세그먼트의 동적 정보를 용이하게 수집함은 물론, 수집된 과거 궤적 정보를 이용함으로써 최적 거리를 탐색할 수 있다.

단말의 위치를 실시간 트래킹하는 시스템 및 그 방법과 이를 이용한 트리거링 시스템 및 그 방법이 개시된다. 단말기는 현재 위치를 파악하고, 소정의 트래킹 방법을 이용하여 다음 위치를 예측한 다음, 현재 위치와 예측된 위치 사이의 오차가 소정 임계값 범위를 벗어나는지 파악하여, 오차가 소정 임계값을 벗어나면 현재 위치를 실시간 위치 추적 서버로 전송한다. 또한, LBS 응용의 트리거링 처리 요구를 위치 서버와 단말기가 분산하여 처리한다.
Abstract:
A system and a method for reducing a communication load of an apparatus for tracking the location of a moving object are provided to enable a server to provide location information of a moving object in real time based on predicted data to a service-based provider without communicating with a terminal when the service-based provider requests location of the moving object from a location information platform. An expected required time calculating unit(113) receives a report about the current location and arrival point of a moving object from a mobile terminal installed in the moving object, calculates the expected time required for arrival to the arrival point of the moving object, and transmits it to the terminal. When the terminal receives the expected time, a communication path opening and closing controller(13) cuts off a communication path for the report from the moving object, and only when the estimated time is re-calculated, the communication path opening and closing controller(13) re-activates the communication path which has been cut off.

A method and a device for searching an optimal route with track information and the method for providing traffic information with the track information are provided to easily collect/offer the traffic information for a road segment without using an expensive traffic information collector and search the shortest distance by using the collected past track information. An input part receives a starting and destination place. A static route provider(360) provides static routes from the starting position to the destination place. An optimal route analyzer(350) searches the optimal path among the static routes based on the track information. The track information is provided to a track information server from a navigator(320) of a moving object through the mobile network when the moving object passes a node of a road network. The optimal route analyzer selects an optimal route determining factor, applies weight corresponding to the determined optimal route determining factor to the static routes, and determines the optimal routs among the weighted static routes. The optimal route determining factor includes at least one of a distance, a day of the week, time, and passing time.

Disclosed is a location trigger system for a location-based service comprising a mobile station in which a LAT detecting the location trigger is embedded; an LBS platform transmitting location trigger assisted information on a location trigger area to the MS, and handling the location trigger in accordance with events invoked on the basis of the location trigger assisted information; a location agent setting the location trigger to obtain location-based information of the MS; and an LBS application connected to the LP, and receiving a customized LBS based on the location information in accordance with the location trigger.

A moving object data system having an index managing function for improving access speed to moving object data and a method for managing the index are provided to dynamically support insertion/search/deletion of a moving object by using the present index. A query processing component(200) inserts location information of the moving object by a location report of the moving object or processes a search/deletion request for the stored location information of the moving object. A data managing component(300) stores/manages the location information of the inserted moving object. An index managing component(400) includes more than one index component(500) differently applied to each moving object, and manages each index component according to the insertion/search/deletion request for the location information of the moving object. A disk managing component(600) stores the location information and the index information of the moving object. A screen outputting component(100) outputs location of the moving object or the information included by the searched object to a screen.
