Provided is a method of detecting error data of sensed values based on a temporal similarity between the sensed values. Error data, which has a statistically similar distribution and cannot be detected by a method of detecting the error data using a window, may be detected. Since the determination of whether error data are generated or not is conducted after the trend of sensed values for a predetermined time period is generated and stored without storing all sensed values to detect the error data, a memory may be saved.

A lighting control system detects an object in action entering a lamp-installed region with multiple lamps and estimates a possible stoppage position of the object based on traveling path history information corresponding to the object's identification information. The lighting control system calculates the object's probable traveling path based on the possible stoppage position and selects those lamps to be turned on based on the calculated probable traveling path. The system turns on the selected lamps. PURPOSE: An internet protocol (IP) coupled router search unit of a non-powered device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the duplication of data transmission from the non-powered device to an IP-based terminal. CONSTITUTION: A non-powered, IP-coupled router generates a response message in response to a search message (640). The non-powered, IP-coupled router transmits the response message to a non-powered device in unicast mode (650). PURPOSE: A duplexing apparatus and a method of an electronic control system in an automobile are provided to immediately deal with errors in case the errors occur in an electronic control unit(ECU) of the automobile including complex electronic parts and software by dualizing the electric control unit. CONSTITUTION: A dualizing apparatus of an electronic control system in an automobile includes a plurality of electronic control units(100,200) which are dualized into an active state and a standby state according to a unique ID which is connected to various sensors and an actuator(10). The electronic control unit of the standby state monitors an unusual condition by outputting a request message to the electronic control unit of the active state. The electronic control unit of the standby state is converted into the active state when errors are detected. The electronic control units receive a signal from the sensors and the actuator and receive a message from other electronic control units at the same time.
