Abstract: PURPOSE: An air heater of a diesel engine vehicle is provided to prevent discharge of a battery against melting or wrong operation, and fire from overheating by detecting abnormality of a relay through the voltage difference between two points with forming a circuit in the air heater. CONSTITUTION: A B50 terminal of an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(1) is connected to an air heater(2) through a conduction unit(3) having a sub relay(3a) and a heater relay(3b). A branch part(10) is connected to an engine connector(20) as an E36 terminal, and placed between the heater and the heater relay of the conduction unit. The B50 terminal of the ECU is connected to the E36 terminal of the engine connector through the branch part. The sub relay is excited according to a signal from the ECU, and air flowing into an intake manifold is heated with operating the heater relay. A voltage comparing unit checks the state of the relay by comparing voltages in the B50 terminal and the E36 terminal. The state of the relay is displayed through lamps or LED(Light Emitting Diode). The relay is detected with the voltage difference by forming the circuit around the branch point, and the battery discharge or fire is prevented with detecting the state of the relay.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for lighting on a turn signal lamp of a vehicle is provided to prevent disorder of the fusion of a mobile contact point unit with a stopper member of a flash due to super heat by over-current by covering the stopper member of the flash unit with a heat resistant material. CONSTITUTION: A mobile contact point(104) contacts to a fixed contact point(103) periodically by the electromagnetic force generating from an electromagnet(102). DC voltage(B+) is fed to a turn signal lamp(40) periodically and the turn signal lamp is flickered. Due to inflow of rain water to the turn signal lamp, a short is occurred between a terminal L and a terminal E of a power supply terminal part(101), over-current flows in a circuit line from a battery to the terminal L. Due to the over-current, a fuse(10) is melted and cut-apart and the circuit between the power supply terminals is opened. The over-current is cut off. Super heat is generated due to the over-current in the circuit line while over-current flows before the fuse is melted and cut-apart. By the super heat, a stopper member(105) formed of a material which is weak to heat is fused. The stopper member is covered with a heat resistant cover member(110). Thereby, the stopper member doesn't directly contact to the mobile contact point and the stopper member is not fused with the mobile contact point.
