    Abstract: PURPOSE: An air bag system is provided to reduce injuries of passengers in a fast collision by changing the size of plural vent holes. CONSTITUTION: An air bag system includes: an air bag(10) having plural vent holes(11) at the rear and contraction members(12) formed at the edge of the vent holes to contract the vent holes; and an air bag sensor(20) connected with the contraction members to transfer an electric signal to the contraction members. In occurrence of a collision, the air bag sensor measures deceleration of a vehicle to deploy the air bag by power supply from a battery(30) according to an operating signal of algorithm. If a higher deceleration than one in an NCAP(New Car Assessment Program) collision is input, an electric signal is transferred to a wire at the rear of an algorithm cushion in a CPU at the same time. Therefore, the vent holes are contracted to delay gas ventilation.
