Abstract: PURPOSE: A hood locking device for buffering impact of a vehicle is provided to buffer impact by pressing a hood downward and to minimize damage of a pedestrian. CONSTITUTION: A hood locker for buffering impact of a vehicle comprises a bracket(110) dropped downward in applying impact into a hood(1) by being fixed on a lower portion of the hood; a fixing bar(120) arranged in the middle of the bracket; a locking protrusion formed on an end portion of the fixing bar; a slant circular plate(130) rotating by load of the hood; a locking long groove(132) formed on an upper portion of the slant circular plate; a housing(140) fixed on an upper portion of a striker(2) combined to a latch(4); a bearing(142) combined to a lower portion of the slant circular plate; a rotation preventing pin(150) combined to an insert groove(152) of the slant circular plate to prevent rotation of the slant circular plate; a pin releasing lever(160) withdrawing the rotation preventing pin from the insert groove; an extension spring(170) rotating the pin releasing lever; and an impact sensing lever(180) fixed on the bracket by a hinge.
