Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to retroreflective articles and methods of making retroreflective articles including a beaded retroreflective article and a multilayer seal film adjacent thererto. The multilayer film includes a polymeric sealing layer and an adhesive layer. In some embodiments, the multilayer film includes a release liner. In some embodiments, seal legs extend through all layers of the multilayer film. In some embodiments, the retroreflective article is retroreflective sheeting. In some embodiments, the retroreflective sheeting and the multilayer film are laminated, embossed, and/or sealed in a single processing step.
Abstract:
Multilayer articles having an absorbent nonwoven layer and a barrier layer are described, including those having a surfactant-treated, aliphatic polyester, nonwoven absorbent layer and a barrier layer. Multilayer articles including a tie layer used to enhance the bond between the hydrophilic absorbent layer and the barrier layer are also described. Methods of making and using such articles are also described.
Abstract:
Polymeric multilayer film comprising at least two adjacent blown polymeric film layers, wherein at least some of the blown polymeric film layers comprise a random network of strands and connective regions, wherein the random network of strands has a first optical density and the connective regions have a second optical density, and wherein the first optical density is greater than the second optical density. The polymeric multilayer films are useful, for example, for tape and graphic articles.
