Abstract: PURPOSE:To take a fission analysis immediately at a measurement site by one device by providing a radiation detector, an A/D converter, a memory stored with a digital signal, an arithmetic circuit which counts an integration increment at specific intervals of time, and a display device. CONSTITUTION:The radiation detector 10 detects, for example, alpha rays and outputs a detection signal 10a corresponding to the energy of the alpha rays. This signal 10a is amplitude-amplified by a preamplifier 12 and passed through an A/D converter 14 to convert a signal larger than a specific crest value level into a digital signal. Then the digital signal is stored in a memory 16 in real time as a multichannel wave height analyzer (MCA) function. Then the storage contents stored in the arithmetic circuit 18 are integrated for a specific time within the energy range of a specific area. Further, the integral increment of the digital signal integrated by the circuit 18 is counted and the counted value is displayed on a display device 22 through a display controller 20.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate variance in result due to a change of operation and to enable long-time or continuous operation by storing and arranging a radioactive material acquiring means composed of an adhesive tape driving mechanism in a transportation body that an operator can carry at an easy attitude. CONSTITUTION:This device is the transportation body of size in a shape matching moving operation and this device is moved to a desired place to be measured. When the device is installed at the position and a feed part is driven, an adhesive tape 10 as a radiation detection medium is fed toward a floor surface F and fed out continuously by a payoff reel 12. Its adhesive surface is supported by support rollers 13 and 16 opposite the position to be measured without contacting. This tape 10 is pressed partially by a pressure roller 14 which is arranged movably nearby the support part to length corresponding to specific unit area to catch radioactive substances. Then the tap 10 which is wound around a winding roller 20 is covered by lap rollers 18a and 18b. A measurement part measures the radiation dosage from the lapped tape 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it very easy to manufacture a thin window, by forming a window material in a thin membrane at a surface of a protective plate, and then processing the protective plate into a specific form of a protective frame through the etching process. CONSTITUTION:At first, a window material is pasted or vacuum evaporated on a protective plate 20 to form a thin membrane 22. Then, a photoresist layer 24 is spread and formed at the other side of the protective plate 20. After that, a masking plate 26 with cuttings responding to the radioactive beam permeable holes of the thin membrane protective frame is arranged opposite to the layer 24, and the light is radiated over the masking plate 26. When it is washed in such a condition, only exposed portions of the layer 24 remain as solid membranes 24a and the unexposed portions are removed, to expose the protective plate 20. Then, by processing the protective plate 20 in an acid solution, only the portions of the protective plate 20 covered by the solid membranes 24a remain, and the exposed portions are solved and removed. As a result, the remaining portions 20a of the protective plate 20 make the protective frame of the thin membrane 22. Thus, a thin window 30 incorporating the protective frame and the thin membranes can be easily manufactured.
