Abstract: A scanner includes: a first body having a window and a guide structure; a transparent platen connected to the first body to cover the window; a first sheet disposed on the transparent platen and in the window; a second sheet fixedly disposed on the transparent platen, in the window and on the guide structure, wherein the first sheet is thicker than the second sheet to form a cliff-sheet type guiding structure as a first part of a transporting passage; a scanning module disposed in the first body; a second body having a second part of the transporting passage; and a transporting mechanism being disposed in the second body and transporting a document along the transporting passage, so that the scanning module scans an image of the document through the window.

Abstract: An information security management system and a multifunction printer thereof are provided. The multifunction printer includes an image capturing module, an image processing module, an output module and a transmission module. The image capturing module captures a data image of a document paper. The image processing module is coupled to the image capturing module and encodes the data image to generate first encoded data. The output module is coupled to the image processing module and prints second encoded data related to the data image. The transmission module is coupled to the image processing module and transmits one of the first and second encoded data. The multifunction printer deletes the first encoded data from a memory after transmitting the first encoded data, and deletes the second encoded data from the memory after transmitting/outputting the second encoded data.

Abstract: A portable image capturing electronic device includes a main body, an image capturing lens assembly and a light source assembly. An accommodating chamber is disposed inside the main body. The accommodating chamber includes a top portion and a bottom portion disposed opposite to each other. The image capturing lens assembly is disposed on the top portion and faces toward the bottom portion to capture an image corresponding to an object disposed at the bottom portion. The light source assembly includes a plurality of first light sources. The light source assembly is disposed on the top portion, and the plurality of first light sources face toward the bottom portion to provide illumination for the object and are disposed nearby the image capturing lens assembly. The present application facilitates illumination control when capturing the image, which can effectively reduce errors in image processing.

Abstract: A scanning device comprises a scan assembly, a control processor and an output interface. The scan assembly comprises two scanner modules for scanning front and reverse sides of a data medium to obtain front side analog data and reverse side analog data. The control processor electrically connected to the scan assembly controls the scan assembly, and executes an analog-to-digital converting process to convert the front side analog data and the reverse side analog data into front side digital data and reverse side digital data. The output interface electrically connected to the control processor outputs even sets of digital data, comprising the front side digital data and the reverse side digital data, to an image forming apparatus, so that the image forming apparatus performs even-set data typesetting and outputting after the even sets of digital data are completely outputted. An image forming system using the scanning device is also disclosed.
