    Abstract: The invention relates to a method of preparing 1-alkyl-3-aryl-5-difluoromethoxy-1H-pyrazoles of the formula (I), wherein aryl represents a mono- or polysubstituted phenyl ring, and R 1 represents C 1 -C 4 alkyl. The inventive method is characterized by reacting, in a first reaction step, a beta-ketoester of the general formula (II) with hydrazine and by successively reacting the reaction product obtained with chlorodifluoromethane and a compound R 1 -L, wherein R 1 has the meanings indicated above and L represents the leaving group of a nucleophilic displacement reaction.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing compounds of formula whereby: a) a bicyclic olefin of formula is reacted with haloform in the presence of a base to produce the ring-enlarged product of formula b) the compound of formula (III) is hydrolyzed to produce the allyl alcohol of formula c) the allyl alcohol of formula (IV) is oxidized to produce the unsaturated ketone of formula (V); d) the ketone of formula (V) is reacted with a nucleophilic ion Y, which stabilizes a negative change, to produce the ketone of formula and; e) the ketone of formula (VI) is hydrolyzed to produce the bicyclic 1.3-diketone of formula (I). In formulas (I) to (VI), R1-R5, X, Y and Z have the meanings as cited in the description. The invention also relates to novel intermediate products and to novel methods for producing these intermediate products. 19 claims
