    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for producing shrink films, comprising: A) 20 to 90 wt % of a biodegradable aliphatic aromatic polyester; B) 10 to 80 wt % of one or more polymers selected from the group comprising: polylactic acid, polypropylene carbonate, polycaprolactone, polyhydroxyalkanoate, chitosan, gluten, and one or more aliphatic/aromatic polyesters such as polybutylene succinate, polybutylene succinate-adipate, or polybutylene succinate-sebacate, polybutylene terephthalate-coadipate; and C) 0 to 2 wt % of a compatibility agent, wherein a blow up ratio of less than or equal to 4:1 is selected.
