    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the form collapse or a bead and to reduce a shearing strain generated at the ply end, by making the modulus at 20% extension of a cushioning rubber provided between a bead core complex and the ply of a carcass smaller than a neighboring lap rubber and a bead filler rubber. CONSTITUTION:A bead core 4 made by coiling by attaching a covering rubber 3 around bead wires 2 is buried in a lap rubber 5 which has the modulus at 20% extension higher than the covering rubber 3, so as to form a bead core complex 6. A cushioning rubber 9 is provided around the bead core complex 6, and the ply of a carcuss is wound and rewound around the cushioning rubber 9, so as to unify together with a bead filler rubber 8. The covering rubber 9 is formed of a rubber with the quality whose modulus at 20% extension is smaller than the neighboring lap rubber 5 and the bead filler rubber 8. Consequently, a shearing strain generated to the fly end when the tire gets a load can be reduced so as to improve the durability, and the form collapse of the bead can be prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the antifatigueness by forming the cords used in the specific width region of a belt reinforced body surrounding the crown part of a carcass ply from the aromatic polyamide fibers consisting of a plurality of units represented by the specific chemical formulas. CONSTITUTION:One ply layer of a carcass ply has a turned-over part 3 on the periphery of a pair of bead cores. A belt reinforced body surrounding the crown part of the carcass ply is formed by laminating the belt layers consisting of the aromatic polyamide cords and extended in the tire width direction to a shoulder part.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability, by specifying a thickness of a base rubber in a direction of normal line of the outermost belt layer in a prescribed area from the center of the maximum width made contact with the ground and specifying property of a base rubber, a cap rubber and a belt covering rubber in the captioned tire for an aircraft or the like. CONSTITUTION:The thickness of a base rubber layer 4 is set to 10-35% of the total thickness of a base rubber layer 4 and a cap rubber layer 5 with respect to lines N2-N4 normal to the belt layer 3 of the outermost layer within the area of 0.35 times-0.525 times of the maximum width W made contact with the ground. A tangent loss at a normal temperature after curing is set at 0.17 or less to the base rubber layer 4, at 0.22 or less to the cap rubber layer 5 and at 0.15 to the rubber covering the belt 3. The 100% modulus of the base rubber layer 4 is set to 60-80% of the cap rubber layer 5 and 40-70% of the belt covering rubber. With this arrangement, durability property at the time of a high speed traveling and overloading is improved.

CONSTITUTION:A carcass ply cord is constituted by setting the cord twist coefficient NT for aromatic polyamide fiber having mechanism shown by formula I and formula II, in the range of 0.4-0.53. And this cord is arranged at an angle of 5-15 deg. to the radial direction and a inner carcass ply cord 7 and an outer carcass ply cord 6 are so laminated as to cross each other so as to constitute the carcass ply 5. By this constitution, the durability and controllability can be improved.

With such constitution, durability can be improved, and weight can be reduced.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To relax the compressive stress of a crown shoulder section in the cross-sectional direction by forming a stress relaxing groove between the respective ground contact ends under the normal operating load in a crown section and under the larger load than the normal operating load just by a specific rate. CONSTITUTION:At least two circumferential belt layers in are arranged the crown section of a tire 10 and the maximum width of these belt layers is set to the width of approximately 100-140% of the ground width under the normal operating conditions of the crown section. For example, the tire is provided with a carcass layer 11 made of cords arranged at a right angle with the circumferential direction and the belt structure 12 containing a number of circumferential belt layers made of cords arranged almost inparallel to the circumferential direction and a number of circumferential grooves 13 are formed on the ground contact surface of the crown section. In this case, a stress relaxing groove 16 stretching in the circumferential direction is formed between a ground contact end 14 under the normal operating load of the crown section and a ground contact end 15 under the load of approximately 150% of the normal operating load.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the durability of bead section of a heavy duty pneumatic tire for air-craft, etc., by covering the fold-back end part of a carcass layer with two rubber cover layers having different elastic moduli which are lower in the inner one than in the outer one. CONSTITUTION:The fold-back part (a) of a carcass layer 1 made of aromatic polyamide cords 2 and a coating rubber 3 is covered with two layers of a first covering rubber 5 and a second covering rubber 6. The elastic modulus of the first covering rubber 5 is set at a value of 50 to 80% of that of the second covering rubber 6. Further, the second covering rubber 6 is arranged such that it completely wraps the outside of the first covering rubber 5. With this arrangement, the first covering rubber 5 serves as a shock damper for remarkably reducing the shear and deformation of the part between the carcass layer 1 and the covering rubber 5 as well as the boundary surface of fold-back end of the carcass layer, and the second covering rubber 6 follows up the defomation of a reinforcing layer on the carcass layer so that it serves as a reinforcing member for the carcass layer 1. Thus, if is possible to aim at enhancing the durability of bead section of a heavy duty pneumatic tire.
