Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a compact ink container capable of stably supplying ink without an ink leakage caused by vibration or impact by a method wherein an end open part of a supply tube for supplying ink is brought into contact with a liquid-impregnated member having continuous pares provided in a containing space of an ink container. CONSTITUTION:A liquid-impregnated member 604 is inserted to a liquid lead port 603 at an end part 602 of a supply tube 601. As an alternative method, a liquid-impregnated member 703 is provided on a bottom 702 of a liquid storage tank 701. A liquid lead port 706 at an end part 705 of a supply tube 704 forming a recording head part is inserted into the liquid-impregnated member 703 to be fixed. The merits of this invention are as follows: even when a liquid contained in the liquid storage part is left to stand in an inclined state, a short- time printing can be performed without troubles ; even if the liquid is left to stand for a long time, the liquid can be returned to a normal state without including bubbles, and a next printing action can be performed satisfactorily.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a full multi-recording head in a simple manner, by a method wherein two or more wiring blocks are disposed on a substrate so that common electrodes connecting commonly to two or more heating resistors and discrete electrode groups are alternately disposed. CONSTITUTION:A wiring block 301 is composed of a plurality of heating resistors 202, discrete electrodes 203 individually connecting thereto, a common electrode 201 commonly connecting to the heating resistors 202. The heating resistors 202 are not necessarily required to be arranged in a line, but preferably aligned on a straight line for obtaining a full multi-recording head. The wiring blocks 301 are provided on a substrate 303 so that the common electrodes and the discrete electrode groups are alternately disposed. In the block arrangement mentioned above, since the electrodes forming the respective wiring blocks are divided into the two directions of the substrate, the connection of the electrodes and a drive part can be carried out at both ends of the substrate, i.e. respectively by use of half of the heating resistor numbers; thus, high-density packaging is not particularly needed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a titled element which is produced in higher yields, is thin, does not form any double images and is suited for indicating scales, display plates, etc. of various measuring instruments by sandwiching liquid crystals between an electrode plates having electrodes on a polarizing plate and an electrode plate having a counter electrode. CONSTITUTION:For example, transparent electrodes 2 and an electrochromic storage layer 3 are provided successively on a glass substrate 1, and after a transparent photoconductive material layer 4 such as polyvinyl carbazole, CdS or the like is laminated on the layer 2, transparent electrodes 2' are formed on the layer 4. A polarizing plate (insulation plate) 5 is formed on the layer 4 and transparent electrodes 2'' is formed thereon. A spacer 6 is provided. On the other hand, a polarizing plate 5' is provided on the substrate 1' and the substrate laminated with transparent electrodes 2''' on the plate 5' is superposed via the spacer 6. A liquid crystal compsn. 7 is sealed between such substrates. In such a way the plates 5, 5' are provided under the inner electrodes 2'', 2''' without providing the same on the outer side of the substrates. Thus the yield of production is improved, and the liquid crystal element which is thin, does not form any double images and is suited for displaying of information in camera finders and displaying for power meters is obtained in high yields.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To supplement ink from a main tank to a sub tank effectively and prevent a recording head from leakage of recording liquid by a method wherein the sub tank is provided with a ventilating hole to keep a pressure in the sub tank at the atmospheric pressure all the times. CONSTITUTION:A print commanding signal is inputted into the recording head 2 and a droplet of printing liquid is spat against a printing paper in accordance with the signal, while a carriage 4, being mounted with a head/tank part 1 integrating the head 2 with the sub tank 3 having the ventilating hole 12, is moved on a shaft 5 by a carriage driving motor, and thus a desired letter or figure is printed. By the movement of the carriage 4 to the left or the right on the shaft 5, a feed passage 7 for supplementing ink, connected to the head/tank part 1, makes arcing motions about a fixed point 8 and a centrifugal force is caused to supplement thereby the ink from a main tank 10, having a ventilating hole 13 on an upper surface thereof, to the tank 3 in which the ink is reduced by the printing.
