    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve color balance by varying signal electrode driving voltages of at least two systems among the signal electrode driving voltages of three systems according to the transmittances of color filters R, G, B. CONSTITUTION:Voltage regulating circuits by a variable resistor 361 and a variable resistor 371 are respectively provided to a bias voltage generating circuit 36 for G and a bias voltage generating circuit 37 for B among bias voltage generating circuits 35-37 and, therefore, the display colors in a color liquid crystal panel 30 can be regulated by the voltage regulation thereof. The effective values to be acted on the liquid crystal are, therefore, equaled in R, G and B by regulating the variable resistors 361, 371 even if the film thicknesses of the color filters R, G, B fluctuate. The high display grade is thus obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the wiring of a circuit by receiving temporarily a video signal supplied from an A/D converter with one scanning electrode driving LSI and distributing and supplying it to plural signal electrode driving LSIs with varieties of timing signals. CONSTITUTION:A data of four bits is inputted to an A/D converter to a scanning side electrode driving LSI 21e and also, a horizontal and a vertical synchronizing signals are inputted from a linear circuit. The LSI 21e generates varieties of timing signals setting the horizontal and the vertical synchronizing signals as a reference and also, generates four chip enable signals CE1-CE4 at every period of 4H. And the LSI 21e supplies scanning electrode driving signals X1-X60 to a liquid crystal display panel 181 and also, selects signal side electrode driving LSIs 21a-21d in order by the chip enable signal CE1-CE4 and gives the data of four bits and varieties of timing signals. The LSIs 21a-21d select and display and drive in order the signal electrode terminal of the liquid crystal display panel 181 according to the data and the timing signal from the LSI 21e.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To miniaturize a receiver by providing a timing control circuit within the empty area of a scanning electrode driving LSI, supplying a generated timing signal to a signal electrode driving LSI and using effectively a liquid crystal display panel driving LSI. CONSTITUTION:The picture plane of a double matrix-typed dot matrix liquid crystal display panel 181 is divided into four blocks. Four signal side electrode driving LSIs 21a-21d are connected to signal side electrode terminals Y1-Y80, Y81-Y160, Y1'-Y80' and Y81'-Y160' in each block respectively, driving the panel 181 by every 1/4 of picture plane. Thus, the LSIs 21a-21d are managed with LSIs which are equipped with the terminal having 100 pins, and small and applicable for general purpose and inexpensive. Also, a scanning side electrode driving LSI21e provided at a display driving and control board is managed with the LSI having 100 pins because the number of the scanning side electrode of the double matrix-typed panel 181 is 60.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a zoom function by changing the duty ratio in a liquid crystal television receiver to expand a part of a displayed picture image and changing an applied voltage of a liquid display panel attended with the change in the duty ratio so as to keep the contrast of the screen constant. CONSTITUTION:A video signal (a) ouputted from a video amplifier circuit is inputted to an A/D converter circuit 1 and a synchronizing separator circuit 2. Resistors having resistance values of 8R, 13R in the middle of four series resistors having the same resistance value R are connected switchingly by a bias changeover switch SW in a liquid crystal drive voltage generating circuit 10, a power voltage (b) is fed to one end of the series circuit and a power voltage (c) from a level shifter 9 is fed to the other end. In expanding the screen, the switch SW in a zoom switch of a control circuit 3 and the liquid crystal drive voltage generating circuit 10 are thrown to the zoom position. Since a basic clock (h) is double in frequency in zooming in comparison with that at normal state, the display pattern on the liquid crystal display panel 8 is expanded twice respectively in horizontal and vertical directions, that is, in total four times as the screen.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain channel selection by a tuning key by bringing a sweep speed of a tuner tuning voltage to a low speed with a matched channel and to a high speed with unmatched channel in selecting a channel manually in a TV receiver of an automatic channel selection system. CONSTITUTION:When, e.g., an UP key for tuning is operated in case of manual channel selection in a digital tuning control circuit 273, an FF61 is set and an Up command is transmitted to a tuning voltage counter (not shown in figure) from an EX OR circuit 62. Further, an FF65 reads the UP signal in synchronizing with a vertical synchronizing signal phiV, a gate of an AND circuit 69 is opened and a tetral counter 67 is kept to the reset state. Then, an output of a terminal 3 of a decoder 70 is zero and the reset state of a 64-adic counter 84 is released. Since a clock pulse (CK)phi3 is inputted to the counter 84, the counter 84 is counted up in a high speed. When a synchronizing signal M comes to an AND circuit 88, the output of the circuit 88 opens the gate of an inverter 90 and a CKphi4 of a low frequency is inputted to the counter 84, the operation slows down and the sweep speed of the tuner tuning voltage is changed over into a low speed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the transmission reception system, that provides a large number of kinds of information without limit on a transmission capacity and to provide the transmitter, the transmission method, the receiver and the reception method. SOLUTION: A transmission method of information in an FM teletext multiplexing broadcast is made different, depending whether or not realtime performance is required. That is, a main menu being the information requiring real time performance is sent by a prescribed period (e.g. 20 seconds) similar to the case of a conventional system. The information not requiring real time is set only for a prescribed time zone (e.g. midnight). The transmission time of this information is served by a program list. The transmission time of the program list is provided by program information which is added to the main menu sent for a prescribed period.
