    Abstract: Given a multiband antenna (10), comprising a reflector (12); an array of first radiating elements (16) having a first operational frequency band; and an array of second radiating elements (14) having a second operational frequency band, the second operational frequency band being higher than the first operational frequency band, each second radiating element (14) comprising: a feedboard (18a) that includes: a stalk (24) that is connected to ground; and a capacitor section (34) that capacitively couples to the stalk (24) through a substrate of the feedboard (18a); a first dipole arm (15) that is supported over the reflector (12) by the feedboard (18a); and a second dipole arm (15) that is supported over the reflector (12) by the feedboard (18a); it is an objective of the present invention to reduce distortion of low band radiating patterns. The problem is solved by the feedboard (18a) further including a common mode tuning circuit (20) that provides a direct current, DC, path from the capacitor section (34) to ground.

    Abstract: A base station antenna, comprising a first linear array of dual-polarized low-band radiating elements that are configured to transmit radio frequency ("RF") signals in a first frequency band; a second linear array of mid-band radiating elements that are configured to transmit RF signals in a second frequency band; a third linear array of high-band radiating elements that are configured to transmit RF signals in a third frequency band; wherein the first linear array of dual-polarized low-band radiating elements is positioned between the second linear array of mid-band radiating elements and the third linear array of high-band radiating elements, wherein each low-band radiating element includes a first dipole having first and second dipole arms that extend along a first axis and a second dipole having third and fourth dipole arms that extend along a second axis, wherein the first dipole arm is shaped differently from the second dipole arm, and wherein the first dipole arm vertically overlaps one of the radiating elements in the second linear array of mid-band radiating elements.
