    Abstract: A car floor for passenger or freight elevators with composite or sandwich construction contains in its core a lattice-like structure (3) of longitudinal (4) and lateral (5) slats which cross over each other, and which is irremovably joined to the baseplate (2) and the cover plate (1). A car floor of this type is resistant to bending and twisting and has a high resonant frequency. If the car floor is made of steel, the elements of the composite structure are joined together by means of plug welding.

    Abstract: A load carrying means (1) for cable operated elevators comprising an under loop cable arrangement is equipped with a load measurement device, at least one of the pulleys (9) mounted underneath the load carrying means (1) is fixed to said load carrying means (1) by a support structure (7) containing an elastic element (7.1, 16, 22) which is deformed by the load dependant cable forces (14) exerted on the pulley(s) (9). A single sensor (15, 16) determines the extent of this deformation and produces a corresponding signal representing the weight of the load carrying means (1) as the input for the elevator control system.

Conductive elements arranged in the drive means, extending in the longitudinal direction of the drive means, transmit signals or energy, and a first contact means is arranged in an area of the drive means. The drive means has a longitudinal directional groove capable of allowing access of the first contact means to the conductive elements. The first contact means travels by passing through the first contact means when the drive means moves, and is constituted so that the first contact means generates permanent contact with the conductive elements.

At least one electrically conductive element extends in a longitudinal direction of the belt-like drive for transmission of electrical signals or energy to/from the at least one door leaf. A first contact device extends into a longitudinal groove formed in the belt-like drive enabling access to the at least one electrically conductive element. When the belt-like drive is moving past the first contact device, the first contact device produces a permanent contact with the at least one electrically conductive element.

    Abstract: A load carrying and measuring apparatus for cable elevators includes a support construction attached to an underside of a base frame or a carrier frame for an elevator car and a pair of cable rollers attached below the support construction for engaging a support cable. A resilient element attaches at least one of the cable rollers to the support construction whereby the resilient element is deformed by load-dependent cable forces acting through the cable roller. A sensor detects the deformation of the resilient element and sends a signal to the elevator control. A resilient isolating element can be connected between the support construction the base frame or the carrier frame.
