PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elevator facility capable of reducing or avoiding defects of conventional technology completely and enable use of a corresponding method. SOLUTION: This elevator facility 20 is provided with a vertical elevator shaft 11.1 and a plurality of elevator cars 16.1 to 16.8. An elevator control system is constituted in such a way that at least two elevator cars 16.5, 16.6 are prepared in the elevator shaft 11.1 of two mutually adjacent entrance areas 13.1, 13.2. A user can get on/off the elevator cars 16.5, 16.6 through the entrance areas 13.1, 13.2 simultaneously by this means. Two first elevator cars 16.5 move to a first destination story, the second elevator car 16.6 moves to a second destination story, and the first elevator car 16.5 moves by at least the same distance as distance for moving by the second elevator car 16.6. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for supervising the safety of an elevator having a car driven by a driving means within a hoistway. SOLUTION: A travel parameter X ABS , X" ACC , X' IGB of the car is detected and continually compared with a similarly detected travel parameter X' IG of the driving means. If the comparison shows a large deviation between the two parameters, an emergency stop is initiated. Otherwise one of the travel parameters X ABS , X" ACC , X' IGB ; X' IG is outputted as a verified signal X;X'. The verified signal is then compared with predetermined permitted values. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft door monitoring method of an elevator device. SOLUTION: When a shaft door 7 of an elevator device 1 is monitored, a closing condition of a shaft door panel 8 is monitored by a remote actuating shaft door monitoring sensor 10 emitting electromagnetic waves. During a specific detection stage, a beam 10.3 formed in the form of electromagnetic waves and reaching to a plurality of floors is radiated by a transmitter 10.1 of the shaft door monitoring sensor 10, and detected by a receiver 10.2. When the shaft door panel 8 is not completely closed and/or a shaft door lock 22 is not arranged in a lock condition, such a fact that the beam is influenced and the shaft door 7 is not completely closed and/or locked is recognized by the receiver 10.2 of the shaft door monitoring sensor, and information thereon is transmitted to an elevator controlling device by the shaft door monitoring sensor 10. In the elevator equipment, a sensor 17 provided for monitoring the state is connected to a data bus 22 through the respectively assigned bus nodes 18, thereby connecting the sensor to the control unit 16. The invention concerns an elevator installation comprising an elevator car (12), which has an elevator car door (13) and is placed inside an elevator shaft (10) in a manner that enables it to be vertically displaced. The elevator installation also comprises shaft doors (11), each having at least one door leaf and provided with an automatically latching shaft door latch (18) for latching the door leaf when the door leaf is located in its closed position. The shaft door latch (18) can be unlatched by the elevator car (12). The elevator installation has a non-contacting sensor means (15, 19) that makes it possible to detect, from the elevator car (12), whether the shaft door latch (18) and the door leaf of the shaft doors (11) are located in their correct latching position, whereby this sensor means (15, 19) can be connected to the elevator control (16) directly or via a separate safety monitoring system.

Safety system of an elevator installation, with a control unit, a bus node, a safety element and a bus, which enables a communication between the control unit and the bus node. The bus node includes a first switching arrangement, which on digital presetting by the control unit acts on the safety element by a first analog signal. The bus node additionally includes a second switching arrangement which derives an analog signal from the safety element and makes digital feedback information available to the control unit by way of the bus.
