Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a hair-care cosmetic having a remarkably excellent setting effect and capable of maintaining this setting effect especially even in a high- humidity atmosphere and giving a preferable touch such as smoothness to hairs. CONSTITUTION:This hair-care cosmetic contains (A) an oxazoline-modified organopolysiloxane having poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) segments each composed of a repeating unit of the formula [R is H, a 1 to 22C alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl; (k) is 2 or 3] bonded through a hetero atom-containing alkylene group to the terminal or a sipe chain of the organopolysiloxane segment in the molecule, having 500 to 500000, especially 100000 to 300000 weight-average molecular weight and satisfying the weight ratio of the organopolysiloxane segment to the poly(N-acylalkyleneimine) segment =98/2 to 1/20, especially 92/8 to 44/55 and (B) chitosan or its salt. The weight ratio of (A) to (B) is 199/1 to 1/99, especially 19/1 to 6/1 and the total amount of both the components is 0.05 to 20wt.%, especially 0.1 to 5wt.%.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce a keratin fiber-treating agent which comprises, in a two pack type, a mixture containing aromatic compounds bearing sulfate, phosphate or phosphonate groups or the like and the other mixture containing polyvalent metal salts, and can give the fibers a durative style as their appropriate strength and elasticity are maintained. CONSTITUTION:A treating agent containing an aromatic compound bearing one to five aromatic 5 to 7 membered rings, sulfate, sulfonate, phosphate, phosphonate or carboxyl groups and another treating agent containing polyvalent metal compound such as magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate are used to provide the objective keratin fiber-treating agent. As an above-described aromatic compound, a compound of the formula (at least one of A to A is sulfuric, sulfonic, phosphoric, phosphonic or carboxylic group or their slats and the others are H, halogen, hydroxyl alkyl or the like) is preferably cited. They are preferably combined with an oxidizing agent and a reducing agent. The treatment agent enhances to give hairs curls, waves and straight hair lines and keep the form for hours.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a composition capable of imparting the hair with adequate tension and firmness in a short time treatment, with its effect lasting for a long time. The former composition or the second agent for the latter composition may be formulated with an organic solvent in order to improve the solubility of the component B and promote its penetrability into the hair.
