Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyether polycarbonate useful as e.g., an adhesive having selective adhesive properties and capable of being dissolved in water, an alcohol, or the like, and to provide an adhesive composition containing the same.
SOLUTION: This invention relates to: a polyether polycarbonate having structural units each represented by formula (I) [wherein A is a 2-6C alkylene group; n is the number of 5-1,000 on the average; p is the number of 5-100 on the average; and (n×p)As may be the same or different from each other]; a method for producing the same; an adhesive comprising the polyether polycarbonate; an adhesive composition comprising the polyether polycarbonate; an adhesive sheet having a layer comprising the polyether polycarbonate; a method for producing an adhesive product comprising coating a substrate with a solution prepared by dissolving the polyether polycarbonate in a solvent selected from water and a 1-4C alcohol and evaporating the solvent from the applied solution; and an alcohol solution containing the polyether polycarbonate.
